<div></div>I usually always play a healer and/or sometimes a nuker/wizard'ish class. But, recently I decided to make a tank, to learn the dynamics of tanks so I can better undertand how to keep them alive.  Plus, I wanted to try something different.Anyhow, so I rolled a Berzerker.   I got her up to lvl 13, and now I'm getting at the point where I'd like to group but afraid that being a newbie tank, I'm going to get my whole group killed. My question is taunting and getting hate off a groupmate. When you heal, you can simply click on the name of the groupmate who needs a heal/buff.  But, I'm assuming as a Zerker if I see a groupmate in trouble, I can't just click on that character and starting taunting and/or using all the hate specials.  So what is the trick? Do I have to actually find the specific mobs who are attacking the groupmates, or is there eventually an AOE Hate/Taunt special?  or is there a way to click on the character in trouble ?<div></div>

<div></div><p>If you group is even remotely intelligent they will allow you to beat on the mob for a few seconds to start building up hate. That way you wont be frantically running around trying to reaggro mobs. You have a couple debuff attacks that really help build up hate as well so remember to use them.</p><p>Your at a low level... it should be expected your learning to play your class... I wouldnt sweat it just do it...</p><p> </p>

To answer your questions, yeah, you really aren't going to be targetting any of your groupmates during battle like you do with your healer, at least not very often.  Not as the MT.  Everyone is going to be (or should be) assisting you, meaning that they have you targetted and they will be auto attacking whatever mob you are pointing at.  And whenever you have a groupmate targetted instead of a mob they are not going to be able to do anything unless they target the mob themselves, and you don't want them to be doing that.  The only time you may really need to target a groupmate during battle is if there is a mob stuck in the wall that someone else has the aggro of and it won't come out and the only way for you to target it is through them, but then that only works if they are not targetting you or anyone else and actually have the mob that's hitting them targetted themselves.  But then usually you can just use an AOE to get the mob out instead of having to resort to that method anyway. So basically, yes, if someone else has aggro then you have to figure out which mob it is and target that mob to get it off them, or use AOEs.  It's not really that hard though, since you can always see whoever a mob has targetted in your implied target window.  When the implied target window is empty that means the mob has you targetted rather than someone else.  And you will need to switch targets sometimes, espeically when there's adds.  You may need to use a combination of tab to "scan" the mobs and manually clicking on them at times when things start to get out of hand.Positioning mobs is important too.  It's always best to have all of the mobs you are fighting in front of you and all of your groupmates behind the mobs as much as possible.  Not only does that prevent them from getting hit by frontal aoes but it also makes it easier to tell if you lose the attention of a mob because it will turn the opposite direction.Another big thing you have to worry about is social aggro since you will be doing most of the pulling as the MT.  In case you don't already know about this, certain types of mobs will "socialize" with one another, meaning that if you pull one of them and another one is too close by then it will come and attack you as well, even when they are not directly linked with each other in one encounter, and if they are typically non-aggro they will still attack if they see you fighting one of their kind.  Of course not all mobs are like this and I've even seen a few cases where two totally different types of mobs socialized with one another, which is rather uncommon.<div></div>
