Hmm, not anymore than I would expect. I got my parser to merge 12 hours worth of encounters in Scaleborn and my average hit% was around 65%, which is pretty much what I would expect when fighting things that many levels higher.

At level 31 with all my weapon skills maxed, I can't hit anything that cons yellow or above to me since LU 20. I also noticied the stealth buff they gave to named mobs. I used to be able to solo named that were 5 lvls and below me, now I can hardly solo the same named mobs that are 9 levels below me.<div></div>

<div></div><p>i could be wrong, but i am wondering if they upped mobs avoidance or hit our ability to hit mobs. if its 5 lvls over my 51 zerk now he can forget about hitting it. on yellow cons his DPS went in the toilet, it was combination of DPS hits and from what i can tell mobs resists or avoidances going up. my zerk is currently set up for DPS as i duo with my slightly higher wife, a monk. she main tanks, and i am set up for damage. i use either dual wield piercing or 2 hand slashing ussually, and with a pristine imbued cobalt claymore and around 300 strenth without potions or extra buffs, or group buffs, i was able to parse over 200 DPS w/o rampage pre KOS....now im lucky to hit 180 on the same mobs with rampage, lol. not a significant hit, but it still hurts,lol.</p><p>my ability to hit oranges is gone, lol. i have a wood elf zerk and he has over 175 agility currently, and when attacking yellow heroics in group i normally parse 150-170,depending on the circumstances and mob. so far every orange i have encountered regardless of solo or heroic mob, i havent been able to parse over 100 DPS....LOL....if its over 5 lvls...forget it,lol.</p><p> </p><p>i dunno...maybe we got hit with the nerfbat...i personally think we did and was very frusterated to see my parsers get hit cause i take enough flack as it is for setting up a zerker for a duo dps, and when my guild saw the new parses and i mentioned it, the general consensus was to buy all new gear, use the reforming stone, and set the zerker up as a plate tank instead of dps/back up tank.....sigh....</p>
Mobs did get new buffs. Quite a few are brawler types and are hard to hit, even from the backside. One indicator that your fighting a brawler type mob is the yin yang looking symbol in the mob's buffs. If the mob is in a group and there is another mob that isn't a brawler, you can use Open Wounds on the other and it's guarenteed to hit the brawler type when you land a hit on the non-brawler.Also, AFAIK, agility no longer plays a part in accuracy. It's been removed from every description of agility including the mouseover in the persona window and the physical attributes trainer on the newb islands. I'm pretty sure it has more to do with the mob's avoidance, and/or the player's crush, pierce, and slash skills.<div></div>

<div></div><span>All this i'm posting is assuming you were level 60 pre-LU#20.<blockquote><hr>Erick_Stormfury wrote:<div>I'm really struggling to hit mobs, level 61, fighting 66, and 67 mobs, and other classes are not having nearly the problems i'm having hitting the mobs. </div><div> </div><div>All skills at master or adept 3.</div><div> </div><div>it doesn't seem to make a bit of difference whether i'm in offense stance or defense stance. same precentage of hits actually get through.. about 1 in every 6 or 7 swings.</div><div> </div><div>is anyone else having this problem?</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>-Erick</div><hr></blockquote>A few things. This has been an issue long before LU 20, most people didn't notice it since they may not raid. Orange mobs have incredibly high avoidance compared to yellow. If your tanking, and tanking orange mobs, your going to miss around 50-80%. There's two reasons why your missing more then others in your group though.1) Your probably in defensive stance if your tanking oranges. This lowers your offensive skills (slash/crush/peirce), so you miss more because of that2) Your in front of the mob, your dps isnt. Non-brawler mobs dont have parry/block/dodge on the rear arc. This is what makes up the vast majority of your misses.Pre-LU#20, non raid mobs there were only six orange heroic mobs that i can think of (orange at 60). Dorn, and Mudeef for ring of fate quest. And the four mobs on the fourth floor of Poets palace. You may have noticed if you fought the Creature of beauty (dryad on fourth floor of PP) it was next to impossible to hit with melee, it was a lvl 65 brawler mob. Which means 360 degree arc of deflect/parry/whatever.Your best bet, fight yellow mobs. Oranges are FAR tougher then yellows, oranges hit like trucks and have high avoidance, making them slower kills, resulting in less exp.Hope this helps.</span><div></div>
Orange mobs are quite a bit more difficult to hit then yellow mobs. It's night and day difference. It's always been this way though. Same with taunts. You will get a huge number of resists on orange con mobs, a bit on yellow, anything below yellow almost always sticks.<div></div>

<div>It's definetly harder to hit mobs, higher level and lower level ones. For example, the 3 guards (coin I think) that stand at the SS docks, and then the other 3 that stand at the top of the hill, I used to go all out offensive on them, and finish with more than half health, and it would be over in about 10-15 seconds. The last few times I've fought them, since LU20, it's been a stuggle, and I'm now3 levels higher than I was. I mean I still win, but my power will be about gone and my health will be like 10-20%!! So these are pretty much twice as tough as they were....or I'm twice as weak.</div>
