<div></div><div></div><div>Its is not a mob, its a quest.   You have to go to the island of Discord in barren sky, then just to the right of the cloud ride from the fiar their is a chain that goes up to another island,  its a [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] to climb the chain, first time i tryied i died 5 times tryin to make the jumps, but it is possible,  once at the top of the chain drop down, there is a ledge, you cant see it, but it is there,   YOU MUST USE INVIS! or go with a group of people,  ALL hat quests come from this guy, (for the quested hat, Legendary one i think)  you have to do this quest with a group, it is pretty tough, it is a lvl 70 quest, but you can finish it if you have a few 63's in the group.  anyway i hope this helps and yes you will die tryin to run and jump up the chain, dont get mad, but i got like 4% debt ROFL you have to climb the chain like 6 times durring the quest.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>EDIT~~~>>  There are hats that drop off mobs but from what i have herd they are Raid targets and the hats are fabled.</div><p>Message Edited by FlameingInferno on <span class="date_text">02-26-2006</span><span class="time_text">11:01 AM</span></p><p>Message Edited by FlameingInferno on <span class="date_text">02-26-2006</span><span class="time_text">11:03 AM</span></p>

HAH.  I made it up the chain on the first try.  <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  But I was scared sh*tless the whole way up LOL.  I hate heights BTW, even in video games.  <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />I haven't died once going down that waterfall in TT yet either but one of my friends does EVERY time LOL.Anyways, I just started this quest myself.  I will be happy to post a screenshot of the hat when I get it unless someone else beats me to it, which will most likely be the case.  Which is fine with me, I will just be happy to finally see it.FYI I grouped with a Mystic last night that had his profession hat on.  It was, of course, the bearskin hat.  I asked him about it and he said that he had the dropped one, not the quested one.  I inspected him and saw that it was treasured, not fabled.  However, I've been seeing quite a lot of actually really nice treasured stuff in this expansion.  It's not just all vendor loot like it has been in the past.<div></div>

I'm still on the part where you have to kill that last named guy in the Nest.  I tried to kill him once before and there was just no way.  I only had one healer though and was still 60 or 61 I think.  I just dinged 63 last night though so maybe he will be a bit easier now that he's yellow instead of orange.  =D<div></div>

Managed to out dps necro/brig alone using this (although the necro was 52..) and thats the easiest fight ive ever had against him. None of those "MEZ IT MEZ IT MEZ IT WERE ALL GOING TO DIE" moments at all..Will be using the 2nd tactic from now on everytime, but option a will work fine as long as you tell your grp before hand what is to be done and not to use dots.</span><div></div>

<div></div><p>There is indeed more to do after the Nest.  Among other things, you will basically need to clear out the Halls of Fate, an instance with mobs ranging from 68 to 73.  If you're having problems with Chamberlain in the Nest, then finishing the quest is probably about 5-7 levels beyond you.</p><p>najena.konk</p>

Yea, They've already stated somewhere that not all the class hats were done. But for the classes that weren't done they would be sharing graphics with other classes until their class hat was complete.  Guardians have same looking helm as us atm.As for the quest. Getting to the nest part and completing that step are the "easy" portions of this quest. The steps after that get significantly more difficult.After egg, you gotta get a buncha updates, from three zones. Palace of awakened, Sanctum of the scaleborn, and Halls of fate.  The Palace update is quasi-rare, 1-2 clearings of the area where the mobs spawn will get you the update pretty much.  Sanctum was common.  One of the updates in Halls of fate is "rare" meaning you may have to clear the zone twice to get it.  Took a buncha guildies two attempts through, took me two runs through. At the moment if you dont kill any named (well certain named anyways) there's no lockout, so you can zone out and back in just for the chance to get more quest mobs. There's about 10-12 of the quest mobs you need, per clear.  For halls of fate, i suggest you bring a mezer and are lv 67+.  The mobs in there can spike damage pretty hard.Hope this helps, and doesn't ruin the fun.  The encounters in halls of fate are really quite fun.<div></div>

Berserkers, Guardians, Templars. Several other classes share the same model as others. Troubadors have the swashbuckler [Removed for Content] hat, as does the dirge. grats on getting it completed grind, tryed the mobs for the final part at 65 but those things in halls of fate sometimes hit for a ton of bricks. Still using benthaf head protector so much compare the stats between the 2, and i must say im rather dissapointed with the generic look that we got so really hope this is changed.froglok in the mystic hat really cheered me up, that is just pure quality lol<div></div>

You know I feel that our class has really gotten the shaft in this expansion overall.  First the pitiful Juggernaut spell and the total absense of a unique graphic for our class helm then they broke Insolent Gibe TWICE and nerfed Guarded Vehemence (yes I still consider it a nerf).  Oh yeah and let's not forget about the proc nerf and the Open Wounds nerf and god knows what else we haven't noticed yet.  And before the expansion it was the nerf to our offensive stance and the complete removal of our berserk animation.  They just keep piling it on and adding insult to injury.  I am quite sick already of seeing other classes running around with their class hats proudly displayed knowing that if I bothered to show mine no one would even notice because it doesn't look any different from normal dropped and crafted junk except for a slight color variation even though I went through all the same hassle that they did to get it.  I am really sick and tired of SOE either neglecting our class or just creating more problems for us whenever they do bother to pay any attention to us.  Every time I turn around there is some new annoying change that effects this class in a negative way or they outright fail to deliver something that they promised us and I think I've had just about enough of this stupid BS.  How much more do they expect us to take I wonder?<div></div>

They've been making us do their choirs and all kindsa crap around the house, then smacking us and giving us the last crappy piece of chicken no one else wanted to eat. Seriously though its really friggen frustrating and i put off doing my hat quest for a while because of it...but just finished it tonight and just was so happy and said "Well i know i dont have the graphic yet but i can still show it .....god that looks aweful"
