<div>Hi all. Just started a new berserker, and I've been rather frustrated with his performance so far. Now to be fair, I'm only 10th level. I'm mainly talking about on the island. At 6th level, a no arrow white mob handed me my butt on a plate. Wasn't even close. Since I've arrived in Qeynos, it's gotten a little better, but not much. I do realize I have pretty poor equipment as the island doesn't equip you very well at all anymore. But tell me with a few adept I's and some better mitigation, the berserker becomes a lot more effective (and fun) to play. Thanks in advance. (Not whining, really just getting a feel if this is what I want to play and asking questions.)</div><div> </div><div> </div>

I started a new Zerker just to see what the new island was like and I had no problems.  I was able to solo the named heroic shark very easily before I left.  I don't remember exactly what level I was at that time but I do know that I was less than 10.<div></div>

<div>I am currently a 43 troll zerk. I have no problems soloing whatsoever. As a matter of fact 90% was done solo.</div><div> </div><div>Give it a chance when you get some better gear you will have fun with the class(if not move on to another) Seriously getting to 20 isnt hard and you should have a better idea of the class by then!</div>

<div></div>I just made a Barbarian Zerker after LU19 and its my first tank.  I will say that on the Queen's island I solo'd the cave with no problems.  I am enjoying her immensly and believe you will too given the chance.

<div>well, i dunno...whats your gear like? cause zerkers are some of the best solo'ers in the game. i have my strenth WAY off my other stats, and with all adept1's,adept 3's,and masters, i am able to parse higher than monks, bruisers, and alot of rangers and assasins. my best so far was at 43 i out parsed a wizzy on a group encounter...he didnt have the best gear though.</div><div> </div><div>i have never had a problem solo'ing, duoing, trioing, or grouping. I tank well, and I dps well. its my favorite class in the game, and i have tried em all. by far one of the best solo classes next to brawlers and summoners.</div><div> </div><div>get some better gear, hang in there, and give it time. your character will improve as well as your ability to play it.</div><div> </div><div>and then 50+ you get rampage and open wounds and you become a demi god...lol...</div>

I'm a lvl 60 berserker, and hehe no dont worry, you should stick with it cause at lvl 50 you get one of your best spells, Rampage.  Using that spell and our best one, Open Wounds, ive out dps'd every class easily.  Higest parse i did, which was awhile ago because ive stopped parsing for the time being, was 3500 DPS.  Next highest was a conj with 800.  The x2 group dropped in seconds, so fast that i could've soloed the lvl 60 x2's.  Just stick with it =).<div></div>
