Just got rampage...

<div>Hah! hit 50 before the servers crashed (hope the servers didnt get rolled back,dont wanna lose that grinding,lol) and got to try out rampage...i have been told they nerfed the beejeebuz out of its recast times and such, even at app1 after nerfdom i must say....i was in awe....was in a instanced zone in clefts, and our group accidentally aggroed a group of undead cobras, they were on our fury and the 54 SK didnt notice....so, i popped on rampage, and launched off my AOE's...i was able to drop the heroic group of double arrow down yellow snakes in seconds....i was in awe....</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>i sure hope the class doesnt change TOO much in KOS....I am quite happy....I would always be a fan of more DPS, so if i loose some mitigation in favor of DPS, I will be fine with it, I just hope they dont adjust our spells too much or change the class to full dps or full tank....either way I like the way I am right now...high strenth able to parse up there with alot of scouts and being able to outparse bruisers and monks (even non group encounters!), but yet still having plate armour to take the hits as a backup tank. my defensive stances nerf the crap outta my dps, but thats fine for most situations when i am backup tank. I just hope they dont stick me in leather armour...if they do they better give me some [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] good dps, or some serious avoidance, and even then i dont think i would be happy,lol...mostly because if i wanted that i woulda rolled a monk to begin with.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>anyway, i have finally reached lvl 50 with a character, didnt think i ever would, and i love it...great class....lets hope it stays that way!</div>

Yeah Open Wounds is by far our best spell.  Stacking it with Rampage is nice too.  Zerkers are really the kings of AE dmg rivaled imo only by conjurors. <div></div>

When I first got Rampage, the recast was 1 hour.  It's been through several revisions and it's easy to see how people can be out of date regarding the information unless they actually have the skill.  It has been toned down since it's original form (scary) from a long time ago.  It hasn't changed in a while now, and I can honestly say I'm happy with it currently.

I held it until we got to the Lord Everling fight. He was 56 ^^ up at the time <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> with a lot of one down arrow adds, I think 10 or so. We ran into the room and he starts his scripted text about killing his daughters blah blah. I get him as a target and start to cast Rampage. He becomes aggro and I Fearsome Shout him and pull him to me. Rampage goes absolutely [Removed for Content] crazy. I lagged and almost went LD! When things finally caught up, he was at 25% and all the adds were dead. This was when I was 50!! It was so crazy fun haha. I knew it was destined for a nerf just didn't realize they would [Removed for Content] it so bad for so long <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div>

<div></div><p>Rampage has a history of being nerfed.  Way back when (7months+ ago) it was i believe a group massive damage that proced alot.. had a reuse timer of 30minutes.  Then it got nerfed to do lower damage in like 15mins reuse.  Then nerfed again to a "chance" to do damage, then nerfed AGAIN so it drains power per proc!!!.  But then they did decrease the reuse timer to 3mins and timed it with Open Wounds <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.</p><p> </p><p><img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<div></div><p>either way, i am very happy with it. I duo alot with my wife, a 55 monk, and so far today it saved us from 6 deaths. I purchased the adept 1 of it to tide me over till i can get the master for it. it helps on adds that happen along when running low on power,ect...I dont use it when we are fighting mid to high 40s heroics and such, only when we get adds or things get risky....then I throw it up, has gotten us out of some pretty bad situations today, and i am loving it!</p><p> </p><p>As far as information goes, yeah, I havent kept up, I just know it was broken for a long time. Either way, I am happy with its current form. It does crazy damage, but the longer recast keeps us from being over powered. I think it was meant to be used more as a "oh crap" spell or a added dps when in a secure group at a safe camp, which is what I have been using it for, and I love it...heck, I love being 50...first character past lvl 40, now my first character to hit 50...big milestone for me since I have been playing since game release(didnt have alot of time to play,and tried a ton of alts.).</p><p> </p><p>now I cant wait for open wounds <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

you'll be better off with the adept3.. the procs will still go off on the Adept3 and damage won't be too much worse.  Rampage is not a spell i would choose to go master,simply because if one drops every zerker will want it and it will probably be 10 platinum instead of 1.25 for the adept3.<div></div>
