new zerker

Hello everyone, I have played a bruiser from the begining all the way up to lvl 69.  With most of my guild getting close to the level cap we have decided to start some alts to play one or two nights a week.  After thinking long and hard I have decided to go zerker over one of the bards.  So basicaly what am I getting myself into?  From my understanding the main differences are obviously the mitigation vs avaoidance and berserkers do tons of dmg against group mobs where a bruiser will do more vs one mob and have higher dps in general.  Any advice on skill lines to upgrade first or anything like that? also as far as weapons go Im figuring on a 1h+shield for tanking and dual weild for dps,  Is there any real reason to use a 2hander now that they made the dual weild weapons better dmg?  Besides I guess getting a nice drop or quest reward thats 2hander only <div></div>
