Master 1 Outrage

So I was logged in today and in the lvl 60 channel this guy gives a shout out that he was selling our lvl 59 berserker taunt Outrage.  Well I have this thing at adept 3 and if you didn't know the master 1 version starts the taunt at over 1k to your aggro, so this is probably one of our best spells to get at master 1.  I send him a tell asking how much and he responds with 20plat.  I laugh it off and offer him a counter bid (almost as funny, I said 3plat) when he responds that he with him looting it it counted as Discovery for the server!  That means the entire time DoF has been out not a single guild farming all the T6 mobs has ever come accross this spell. My question to all of you is this.  Is it just crappy luck on my server (butcherblock) that only now, December 6th finally a master 1 drops for our outrage OR is it about the same for all servers?  How many of you guys have your master 1 outrage?  If it is this freaking rare then [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] SOE?  Spells such as our T6 main taunt should drop alot more regularly than this imo.  Thoughts? <div></div>

Hey mem,  I play on the same server as you and he quoted me the same price.  I told him good luck and kept going about my business.  Its not woth 20p to go from adept 3 to master 1.  no spell is.    For some reason when certain people get a master spell they tend to waaay overprice things.  There is also someone on our server trying to sell  devestating press for 22p..... its not selling either.  I dont pay more than 8p on masters and thats for a really really good spell.  most i buy for around 4 to 6 p.  any more than that i just forget it.  My advice  is to just upgrade to adept 3 and wait.  If you never get it to master 1 who cares.   By next expansion that spell will be outdated.  <div></div>

<P>On Oggok we have the same issue, some players are trying to sell a few Masters around 15pp to an outrageous price of 35pp.  I reaaly don't know what type of stuff they are smoking to think someone would pay more tha 6-7p for a master.  Even if it is a server discovery.  I've got 4 masters in my T6 CA's and never payed more then 4-5p for the ones I bought.  Mostly traded 1 Vanadium/Pearl plus 2pp for them.   One guy was asking 17pp for chaos master 1.  Offered 5pp for it and he turned me down.  I went my way not wanting to offer more.  2 days later, I traded 2 pearls for Chaos master 1 <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> with another guy.  I don't find that 2 rares is  expensive, since rares are droping from chests a lot more... I can useally get 1 or 2 rares a day doing the instances. </P> <P> </P>

I bought mine on AB for 6 plat. People usually overprice discoveries since they're not in the market yet, but unless it's a really defining spell I wouldn't bother spending over 7-8 for a Master 1. Even that's a little much.

i hardly even see any zerker spells expecially masters on my server. just yesterday me and a sorserer went into sh on my lower char and killed everything gaining a couple lvs. during that time we got tons on junk chests and alot of spell chests. through every spell chest that dropped it was either a pally, crusader, or bruiser. then after we managed to take down a name that had me down to my last 10 hp, an adept 1 taunt spell finnaly dropped and the sorsere was kind enough to give me it free. lol course when she already had the sword of thunder drop why would u want a crappy adept 1 spell <div></div>

<div></div>Ya, it's things like this that has caused alot of people to drop this game or are ready to jump ship at the first sign of a better MMO ( /cough vanguard /cough) lol.  Seriously though, kind of interesting that my server isn't the only server that didn't have the MOST crucial master 1 spell for the tanking Berserker drop till December.   You paying attention up there SOE? +D About the other SOB that posted in our berserker forum about having gotten another Master 1 Outrage and is currently trying to sell it for 48plat....here's hoping that the computer that houses your account info gets a virus and your entire account is lost =P.  I can't stand you greedy SOB's that end up with something and price it for stupid amounts trying to financially [Removed for Content] your fellow gamers. <P>Here is a good story.  I saw a Master I Courageous Will on the broker for 35pp.  I asked the person to lower the price and she replied 25pp.  Seeing how it is only +4 parry and +250cold resist from the adept 3 version, and that I only had 12pp at the time, I offered her 10pp, a level 52 dirge master I spell, 2 cobalt cluster, and 2 ironwood.  She turned it down flat.  2 days laster a friend of mine got it off some named in Pillars of Flame and gave it to me for free.  How is that for a holiday happy ending ?</P>
