Focus Rage vs Rage

<DIV>So far in this game, everytime I have had a spell upgrade for I spell I chose to make my master 2 choice in the spell upgrade has been much better.  Even at app1 the spell has been better than the master 2, for example wards for my mystic mind and the shield attack spell for berserkers come to mind.  Well I had decided to make Focus Rage (20) my master 2 choice, I made level 34 the other day and my new Rage (34) has been upgraded to app 4 and still does not appear anywhere near as good as my level 20 spell, not even close.  Am I missing something here about the level 34 spell?</DIV>

At 42 I still don't have a replacement for Master II Focus Rage (20).  I messed up and didn't take the master II when I respec'd after LU13.  I was close to 34 at the time and figured I would get an upgrade soon.  Infuriate at lvl 48 is your next chance to upgrade Focus Rage from lvl 20.  I don't have it, but the adept III at 34 is possible an upgrade?

I would bet that the 34 Adept III is *not* an upgrade though. I don't recall the %s exactly, but the level 20 Master II is something like 17% increase to speed and damage while the 34 Adept I is 13%. I can't imagine the Adept III improving it by <STRONG>over 4%</STRONG> over the Adept I. </P> <P>My <STRONG>theory </STRONG>is that if you chose the level 48 version (Infuriate) as your Master II choice at level 54, it would yield<STRONG> exactly</STRONG> the same numbers as the level 20 spell. According to this the level 48 version would still be an upgrade - 21% at Adept III, 25% at Master II. I could swear though that at Adept I it is still less than the Master II Focus Rage (17%). I have Rage as my only Master I CA.I'm still using it, at level 54, because the M1 Rage is better than the replacement at Adp1, and the increase by going to Adept 3 just isn't worth the plat to buy the vanadium/pearl.--Z
