<DIV>I know this would be rather difficult.  but.....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'd love to see a true comparison of spell progression on upgrades still used at the end game.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>for example:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>at a static strength (say 300 for this post)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>47 - Destructive Rage  - at  app 4, adept 1, adept 3, master 1</DIV> <DIV>47 - Wallop - at app 4, adept 1, adept 3, master 1</DIV> <DIV>48 - Infuriate - at app 4, adept 1, adept 3, master 1, master 2.</DIV> <DIV>48 - Blood Boil - at app 4, adept 1, adept 3, master 1, master 2.</DIV> <DIV>49 - Slaughter - at app 4, adept 1, adept 3, master 1</DIV> <DIV>50 - Fearsome Shout - app 4, adept 1, adept 3, master 1, master 2.</DIV> <DIV>50 - Unbridled Fury - app 4, adept 1, adept 3, master 1.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>etc etc etc, all the way up to level 60 skills....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>anyway, I think if we pooled our data, we could come up with it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>in fact, if people are willing to do this, they can reply with their stuff on this thread, and i'll combine it into one post, so we all can see which upgrades would be best to upgrade for themselves.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-Erick</DIV>

<DIV><A href="http://www.eq2idb.com" target=_blank>http://www.eq2idb.com</A> - get the utility from there and compare everything you want (no need to have 100 people posting their values).</DIV>

<div></div>Can you search by Class/Level tho on EQ2IDB?  But it is a very cool utility nonetheless. You'd still have to get a list of the spells somewhere. This link is from the Defiler boards.  It's a very useful thread: <a href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=20&message.id=5907" target=_blank>http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=20&message.id=5907</a> You can tell at a glance the rate of improvement from one level to the next, etc. <div></div><p>Message Edited by Sokolov on <span class=date_text>11-16-2005</span> <span class=time_text>08:39 AM</span>

If thats the case the OP is looking for a comparison of around 300 STR.</P> <P>Like Sokolov said it is a cool utility but only shows base stats from the items themselves and it all depends what class submited the information for example if a Crusader submits a item to the data base that is a Brawler only weapon say for example Fist type weapon that has a proc on it, you wont see the true value of the proc or the Damage of the weapon. You will see what the Crusader see's.</P> <P>Still a cool tool though for seeing what stats items has though, not sure about using it for CA's / Spells.</P>

Well, I THINK if you use the link and paste it back into EQ2, the client reads the info from your character's point of view. <div></div>

<DIV>Yes, the database is just items...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'd like to see spells and combat abilities...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>also, when looking at the different eq boards that show a version of an adept 1 or adept 3 whatever, there pictures that are based on the persons stats who took the picture.  We have no idea what that persons stat's were.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>what may appear as a minimul upgrade, might actually be a large upgrade due to the this difference.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>hence my original post was asking that those who post this information, do it with a strength of 300 as the baseline.  then we can truely see the actual increase of each spell/CA.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>as far as the defiler link goes, yes this is the kind of thread I had in mind, only for zerker CA's <FONT color=#ff0000>AND BASED ON 300 STRENGTH!</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ff0000></FONT> </DIV> <DIV>hope that makes some sense.  If there is a DB tool, or something that has already compiled such a comparison, just let me know, like i said, its something i'd really like to take a look at.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-Erick</DIV>

<DIV>Nope, you still don't quite get it...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Open EQ2IDB.</DIV> <DIV>Search for any spell, e.g. Unyielding Battering.</DIV> <DIV>That gives a list of App II, App III, App IV, Adept I, Adept III, Master I.</DIV> <DIV>Choose one</DIV> <DIV>Click "Copy Link" at the bottom</DIV> <DIV>That will copy something like    aITEM 1788484070 Unyielding Battering (Adept III):Unyielding Battering (Adept III)/a   into your buffer</DIV> <DIV>Now go in-game and paste (CTRL-V) that into a chat</DIV> <DIV>That will give you a link, click it and look at the stats. Those stats will be accurate for whatever value of STR you currently have.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You can then repeat it for whichever spells you like, at whatever STR value you like and get everything you need.</DIV>

<P>While it is a good idea that EQ2iDB Pin i personally dont use it and i know alot of other people who dont use it and find it alot easier to come here to the forums too see a comparison.</P> <P>Another reason alot of people dont use such programs is because they simply dont trust them, no matter how many people say its a safe program to use and im sure this is, same with EQ2maps, there is those people out there who chose not to infect there computers with such programs, just a personal choice i guess.</P>

So long as you have it capped, people of any level can get a good comparison.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Doing it with any fixed STR value (e.g. 300 str) does not give a good base for comparison, as a spell will do less damage at level 60 with 300 str than it will at level 55 with 300 str.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Note that if you're unable to easily get to 440 str (7*level + 20) by finding a couple of friends to buff you for the tests, you could also find a lowbie to mentor and examine them with 90 str at level 10, for example.</DIV>
