Beserker + Conjuror duo?

<DIV>O.k heres the deal i been out of eq2 for a while but my wife started again recently and has a 32 Conjuror who does lovely DPS, I have a 33 Paladin on old account but his DPS blows all he has is surviveability (wards/heals) this whole combat upgrades thrown me somewhat.</DIV> <DIV>However I also have access to a 50 beserker that i could mentor down to her level and play, so I guess the question would be is the zerkers extra mitigation and hp over a Paladin a counter to the extra survivability of a Pally doing ^^^ blues, groups of white/blues etc duo.  I realise its a little bit like apples and oranges but im thinking the extra dps and mit of a Zerker would shorten fights so i wouldnt need wards and heals?.</DIV>

<P>Ive grouped with conjurers before. it is a combo that works pretty well. most of the time the conjureres pet tanked while i just dished out dps, and if and when their pet went out i could take over the agro. paladins arent as bad as you think though, later on in the game youll get some better skills and do more damage. solo wise obviously a paladin is easier to play, however i think playing a berserker is more fun. my opinion could be biased though <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P>

<P>Well as a 42 zerker i wouldnt recomend it without a healer (templar or mystic) but it would be fine if your killing small group mobs not big groups.</P> <P> </P>

<DIV>Well yeh when we duo we mostly complete quests dont go grinding for exp so to speak, i mean the most we can take as a 34 pally/33 conj is usually levlel 30 ^^^ and groups of 4-5 mobs normal or arrow down.</DIV>

Well, in my humble opinion it is a matter of flavor - what class do you enjoy more? A zerker does better dps but a pala got his heals - what resembles your playstile? It's all about fun, don't forget <span>:smileywink:</span> <div></div>
