<DIV>Sup</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just wanted to Post right quick about my experience since I hit level 60. There was some questioning from my end after the combat changes took effect in regards to the DPS , taunts and agro losses.  As real life, thing's take time and so the same went for as I grinded my way through the levels.  All my spells are Adept 3's and I usually grouped with a bruiser in my group whom I found an issue initially.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thing's are a lot different now. My Taunts are Great, I Tank like a champ, and my AoE DPS is off da chain. Specially when I group with a wizzie and use my AoE DPS, it's just insance dps. Working together in a group is key to a berserker... at lest it was for me. Keeping you at your toes at all times and no room for breaks keeps the adrenaline flowing as you pull, taunt, kill.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So after giving it a chance I am happy I did. I stuck through what I thought was a negative change and found it all to be positive. Just wanted to post this and say thanks to the devs for these changes. For those that may be having doubts still, just stick with it, learn the right combos and styles for your Zerker and do your thang.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Peace</DIV>

Just hit 58 last night... well this morning.. I'm happy with my Zerk as well.  I'm very pleased with my offense (for a tank, especially AE) and I feel I'm a solid tank at least in a group setting.  I love the ability to switch stances on the fly.  Defensive stance is a bit harsh on the penalties IMO but overall it's a blast to be able to change up like that.  Sure I'd like  bit more agro control, but I think in general they've done a good job making it challenging but not too difficult to hold agro if you and your group know what they're doing.Insolent Gibe is great for adds by the way, as is the offending defense line.  Good stuff.<div></div>

I'm less than 10% from 52 and you can have it. If I could sell my guy I would. Being nerfed doesn't [Removed for Content] me off. Leveling to 50 on a character I without a doubt loved to play and then logging in one day and taking a totally different nose dive off a god damned proverbial cliff is what really gets under my skin. My level 30 guardian alt can tank better then my main. Berserkers are a joke. Did I stutter? [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]ING JOKE I said! There never was a real place for them and now, there never will be. What are we anyhow? DPS? Tanks? Utility? I feel like the class was just tossed in for aesthetics. I honestly can't believe there are people out there saying how great we still are after the allmighty LU13, and to be honest, I just <u>can't</u> believe what you say, You HAVE to be leaving something out because I <u>honestly</u> feel we've been shorted. I've stuck around for [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] near a month being optimstic even at first! Now? My God I want to go berserk on these forums... could you cry any harder mabey? Go ask a guardian how they feel about their toon.  Same crying and winning exept for the real players who change and adapt to the combat changes.  I've grouped with every kind of tank and the best ones I've been with have been a zerker and a pally.  Guardians are awsome but just dont offer anything besides being a meat shield.  Monks win with dps but one lucky streak of hits on them and they are down and out.  Same with bruisers.  So how about rather than crying over spilt zerker, you suck it up and try again.  you'll run into the same problems with your gaurdian you have with your zerker <div></div>

R.I.P.Highkeep<div></div><hr></blockquote>You might want to go back and try things out now after the recent changes.With the last update, they switched many mobs melee damage away from doing arcane damage to trauma damage, as it was before LU13. Which means that your mitigation actually does something again. Mitigation tanks are back to actually being able to, well, mitigate damage based on our mitigation and not our resists.DPS, what can I say. Against a group of mobs, I'll flat out out-dps any other tank class. Bar none. Especially if I'm tanking. Hell, with Rampage+Weapon Guard+AE's+Open Wounds+Offensive stance, there are very often times I can kill things so fast that it's not unheard of for the casters to not get a spell off. Or I'll hear them say they got one cast off. Sure, can't do that every fight, but put all our various AE's together and I do *serious* damage in any given fight. Solo linked encounters, if Rampage is up, I can kill anywhere from 5 seconds on the low end to maybe 45 seconds for yellow cons.Utility, was have some, although not near the level we had before. Still, compare what we bring as a tank class to a group as far as buffs/utility, and it's still not too shabby. Honestly, out of all the tank classes, Berserkers are the most desirable for groups IMO. DPS buffs, HP regen to help out on those longer fights, massive DPS against groups of mobs, better able to handle adds then any other tank class due to our AE's. Berserkers have tons going for them.</span><div></div>

I built my Zerker character as a Tank Zerker. I Tank better than a few Guardians outside my guild to be honest with you. When a guildy Guardian joins my exp group, I switch from Tank mode to dps mode because simply, Guardians are meant to Tank better than us. On the other hand this would apply only if the Guardian is about 2 levels lower than me. If I am 2 levels higher or maybe a level higher even, I would play Tank with no problem. You think tanking with a Guardian is a mission? You should tank with a bruiser. I have learned a lot about teamwork and tank sharing when I am grouped with a bruiser and there is no Guardian because the bruiser and I would simply toss the mob back and forth. But like I said, I would always step down if a Guardian is present and about 2 levels higher than me. You have to use common sense and apply that sense when you are in a group. Remember you offer some of the nastiest AoE DPS this game has o offer and you can do this either tanking or not. So you sayig we are a joke is basically out of frustration. I as well thought the same to be honest. But, like I said before, you have to learn your style, and use common sense on group membr levels and classes. I wont get into the facts about what we were before because that was the past, as of now we are a great tank and or we are a great AoE DPS addition........ but you have to always use the class group rule before deciding what you will add to a group before your adventures. </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffff00></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ff0000>. Hope you give it a chance and learn the new ways of a Berserker. Not everyone can play this class, so you have to either give yourself some time to learn your style of play or ride another boat. This is from my personal experience and maybe it's the people I group with each night, or maybe it's the common sense I use when building a group or joining one, whatever the case may be...
