<DIV>Ok I was wondering I have been doing my best to pay attention to this proc and to the best of my abilty i only see it hitting a single target instead of every target in the area. Is this proc broken or am i jsut missing it. I mean i look at the battle record and i dont see several of them hitting targets i just see 1. Am i incorrect isnt this abilty supose to proc AOE.</DIV>

I always see it hit however many mobs are left in the encounter.
<DIV>It is my understanding that the proc is a true AE (not encounter AE) and has a limited range, so it's possible some of your targets are out of range. The name of the proc is Furious Assault, by the way, if you're looking for it in your combat spam.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>najena.konk</DIV>

Hmm well I actually hope it's not a true AE since that would be dangerous. I cant imagine it is though as I've fought literally right on top of the non-agro Monks in PoF while fighting Harpies with UF on and never had a problem. <div></div>

<DIV>It's encounter-based, and I've never had a problem with it hitting all targets.</DIV>

<DIV>So it like stunning roar where if i have 4 diffrent creatures on me but they are not grped it will only hit on of them. I think the defination of an encounter should be changed should be anything that is attacking rather than only grped mobs. I think 10 solo grp creatures is considered and encounter lol.</DIV>

<P>A great way to "see" how well rampage works, is find a group of 4 blue or white "solo" mobs. Hit rampage, then vanquish, then frenzy. Followed up by whatever else you want. Everything will be dead in under 5 seconds <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.</P> <P>I have even seen gleaming strike hit 2 targets when I have used rampage, flukey yes, but fun to watch <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P>

Even though this topic is not about rampage, I thought I'd respond...Rampage lets you do things you should not be able to do <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> It's great though, every three minutes. The previous poster said find 4 or 5 blue or white "solo" mobs. I use a modified strategy to produce the same effect on groups of blue heroic mobs... (I don't suggest doing this with up-arrow mobs)1) Prepare with all your offensive buffs2) Cast Anarchy (Chaos), Weapon Guard (Weapon Aegis), Rampage3) Charge the group and open with Slaughter4) Follow with Stunning Roar (Stunning Howl) and Berzerker Assault (Berzerker Rush)Assuming decent stats and gear, most of the mobs in the group are now dead. Finish them off with your other CAs, wait 3 minutes and repeat.-RJ-
The Furious Assault proc was a true out of encounter AE in DOF beta. Have not tested it live, was under the impression that it still was.

Since picking up more than a couple of non-aggro adds in beta, I've instinctively positioned myself with Furious Assault in mind, so I wouldn't have noticed any changes.</P> <P>I guess I'll have to do some testing.</P> <P>najena.konk</P>

How big was the radius in Beta roughly? <div></div>
<DIV>Pretty small, but I noticed it when fighitng Maj'Dul guards in the presence of non-aggro citizens. I am fairly sure that I saw Furious Assault pick up tower guards from different floors when working on takeovers. Slaughter and Open Wounds were pretty bad offenders in that regard as well.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>najena.konk</DIV>

Here's a question on it that I'm afraid to test... does it break mez? Only time I'm ever in a situation where a mezzer is around is a raid and that's pretty unpopular if you break it <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />For that matter, what CA's of ours do break mezz?<div></div>
Fury line is still a true AE. It is not encounter based. It's fairly easy to see it in action, just stand next to a non-aggro mob when fighting, and you'll see it go off and have the mob aggro on you. All our AE's break mez, with the exception of the pure hate taunt AE's, Fearsome shout and Insolent Gibe. As far as Rampage, cast Rampage, cast Weapon Guard/Aegis, run up to linked encounter with Stunning Roar, followed by Slaughter or Berserker Assault/Rush. Depending on the con of the encounter, your results can range from insta-killing the encounter to having them at least half dead. All within 5 seconds, provided you don't get stunned right off the bat. On linked heroic encounters of no-arrow blue con mobs, I've killed the entire group before casters could even get a spell off. If your 58 and have Open Wounds also, it's pretty sick how fast you can take down linked encounters. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>
