what are zerkers like at high levels post lu13?

<div></div><hr>at the moment we can take huge groups of yellow triple arrow downs or single arrow up yellows, or orange solo cons with no arrows with ease....will this duo be as effective later on?<hr><font color="#ffff00">If you're talking solo mobs here then yes the two of you should blow through up to orange solo mobs easily at any level.  </font><hr>now, here is the question, at higher levels, will i be switching roles with my wife? do zerkers become more effective tanks for solo yellow or orange encounters post lvl 40? also, would a zerker and monk duo be as effective as it is now at higher levels? at the moment we can take huge groups of yellow triple arrow downs or single arrow up yellows, or orange solo cons with no arrows with ease....will this duo be as effective later on?<hr><div></div><font color="#ffff00">To answer that let me give some general points first:   Tanks are very gear dependent.  If you dont have good, up to date armor and items you wont be a very good tank.  This is ESPECIALLY true for mitigation tanks IMO, which Berserkers are.  Berserkers get plate, we are designed take a hit, but let our armor take away some of the punch in attacks.  In a way, we're as good as our armor when it comes to taking hits.  </font><font color="#ffff00"></font><font color="#ffff00"></font><font color="#ffff00">Monks are avoidance tanks, they can make due with slightly inferior gear and not see as much of a drop in performance.  They are designed to get out of the way of a lot of hits.  </font><font color="#ffff00"></font><font color="#ffff00"></font><font color="#ffff00">With good gear, as far back as I can recall, certainly in my 40's on... I could handle yellow solo mobs easily.  Same is true after LU13 for me.  Keep your gear current and you'll tank fine.  If you switch roles or not I cant tell you as I'm not that familiar with monks but I'd assume you'd both do a solid job and it would depend on who has better gear and how you play (offensive or defensive stance, shield or 2 hander, Adept III skills etc.).  </font><font color="#ffff00"></font><font color="#ffff00"></font><font color="#ffff00"></font><font color="#ffff00"></font>

<P>thank you for the info. at the moment we both have great gear... because we never take on mobs much higher than yellows, she seems to be the better tank in most cases. if they are magic heavy mobs or if they are orange and above, due to my mitigation, i am a better tank.</P> <P>however, if they are below a orange con or they dont use a whole lot of magic or poison attacks, she is by far the more capable, but it seems with each passing level i become more of her equal as a tank. when i first turned 20, regardless of if we duo'd or were in a group with healers, she was a much better tank, would loose health at HALF the rate I would. its slowly improved since i hit 30.</P> <P>i still out damage her by far, using equivalent weapons and stances. this may be due to my high strenth... at any rate, we will see how it shapes up.</P> <P>I belive i will stick with my berserker, cause she just wont be able to hold aggro off my wizzy at higher levels, even with adept taunts and my wizzy waiting to nuke she cant hold aggro now,lol. at least with my zerker, when she looses aggro its not a life and death situation as much as it is spreading the damage so we can take harder mobs,lol.</P> <P> </P> <P>one last question...whats zerkers dps equivalent to at high levels? if you go full offensive stance, all your buffs up, with great gear, maybe some rings and dolls to buff strenth,ect, and dual weild or a good two hander? what are lvl 50+ zerkers capable of? on parcer where do they rate in dps compared to scout and mage classes? i know it will be lower, but how much lower is it?</P>
