In a post further down Aonein does a wonderful job at listing our skills, but one thing interested me. Agility is stated as affecting our 'to hit' modifier. This appears to not be the case and I am very interested if anybody can offer any input on this (especially Aonein if you see this)

I thought I read that they took that out in beta, someone else might remember that, or I could be totally mistaken .

10 points of agi seem to roughly equal 1% avoidance. keep in mind though, your agi-cap moves upwards as you level on while your agi remains the same until you swap gear, resulting in % avoidance decrease while your level increases.

Hmm I am currently level 51, I noticed that 20 AGI give me 1% avoidance... it's not much sadly.

currently AGI does not affect you ToHit chance in any way... thats sad to my ranger, but my berserker loves it! :smileyvery-happy: ++Xan

To reiterate, this is a question about being ABLE TO HIT, rather than our own avoidance. Id like to again plead with Aonein if he reads this to respond. I'd post in his original thread, but Im afraid that one is too long and the question would be submerged.

AGI does NOT contribute in any way to our + ToHit chance... eg. chance to be able to hit on the contrary, STR however seems to do that, atleast our attack rating number increases with increased STR but, not really sure IF thats what it means... However i studied once the effect of STR to melee battle and i would rather say that STR affects our chances to hit more than AGI (this was before CU thou, things have changed dunno how they are now) but im 99% certain that AGI doesnt affect our chances to hit in any way currently, which is kinda sad ++Xan
Message Edited by xandez on 10-05-2005 03:39 PM

Message Edited by xandez on 10-05-2005 03:40 PM
