What do you like about your class?</b> <div> I like that we can tank effectively while still putting out excellent DPS.  I don't feel gimped in either area... and for me, that's an ideal situation.  I like the idea of a madman (or a gnomish madwoman, in my case) flailing about hitting everything in sight.  I like that getting hit infuriates me to the point of regenerating health.  I like being able to [Removed for Content] off every mob in a room and keep their attention while my group takes them down.  I like being able to wear nearly any kind of armor and equip any kind of weapon.  I like our haste.  I like our strength buffs.  I like being a Berserker. One of our trademark abilities is Rampage.  On a successful attack, Rampage attempts to hit ALL mobs in an encounter up to 10 times.  I've seen this skill put out 10,000+ damage in just a few seconds.  Unfortunately, it's 3-minute reuse timer keeps us in check.  <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Before the combat changes, I loved my Berserker.  After the combat changes, I love my Berserker even more.  I didn't think that was possible. <div><b>2. What do you not like?</b></div> Honestly... not much.  I do wish that increasing mitigation didn't cause avoidance to go down... but that's something I think all plate tanks are having a hard time coming to terms with. <div><b>3. What kind of play style is best suited to your class?</b> Berserker's really excel when tanking or DPS'ing against multiple mob encounters.  We have some exceptional AE abilities and our reactive procs work well when a ton of mobs are hammering on us. <b>4. In general is it easy to find a group?</b> I don't think a good Berserker will ever have trouble finding a group.  I know I don't.  But I think part of anyone consistently finding a group is having a good guild that recognizes the skills your class offers. <b> </b></div> <div><b>5. How would you compare your class to your good/evil counterparts (Guardians)?</b> A common misconception is that Berserkers are evil.  Berserkers can actually live in either city.  I prefer to think of our alignment as Chaotic Neutral.  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Anyway, Guardians and Berserkers are both Warriors at heart.  We live to take damage.  But the main difference between us is that Guardians get more Defensive skills while Berserker's get some more Offensive skills.  For example: <span>Guardians get a targetable damage absorption skill, Berserker's get an AE attack skill.</span> Guardians get a group defense buff, Berserkers get a group haste/DPS buff. <span>Guardians get a short duration mitigation buff, Berserker's get a short duration counterattack buff. I'll tell you this... I have yet to lose to a Guardian dueling.  <span><span>:smileyvery-happy:</span></span> </span> </div> <div><b>6. What kind of play style is best suited to your class?  Agressive MT'ing roll in groups and a MA/DPS roll in raids.   I don't think we have the abilities (atleast at 52) to compete with a guardian in the new system.  You do have fantastic agro generation and good enough buffs/stances to be effective MA's/DPS.</DIV> <DIV><BR>4. In general is it easy to find a group?  Yes, I'm pretty geared up and I have alot of guildies so its not too hard.  I generally solo when I can't find a good group which for me is just as efficient as grouping.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>5. I think its safe to say that we can be a mediocre Raid tank, but still a strong Group tank with good survivability and good DPS. But to be honest with you, it all comes down to the person who is playing to chose a play style they like.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><BR><U><STRONG>4. What kind of play style is best suited to your class?     a. I personally beleive its all about your personality. This class is very strong in the dps and tanking department. If you like to get beat on, go tank. If you like to rip the mobs dome off, go dps.4. In general is it easy to find a group?     a. We are pretty much identical to the guardian, just we dps. They get 1k 30sec mit buff instead of 20def/parry buff that last 30 sec. They get an anarchy/chaos type buff. We are much more versatile. </div> <div>6. How do you feel your class does soloing?     a. We do great. I could solo level 58/59 groups of heroic mobs with ease. On ^^^ we get hit a little harder than I like, but overall soloing we are great. If you do consider my application for the interview, I also have a good backround with guardians. I also have played a 59 guardian for quite a few hours of grinding, know what does what. I also played him before the changes, so i can compare before/after. Thanks- </div></div> <div></div>

1. What do you like about your class? a. I like being a "offensive" tank. b. I love our rampage ability. c. I love the idea of us going "berserk" on something that hits us causing us to hit back harder/faster while regening HP. 2. What do you not like? A. How gimped we have become in our ability to tank. B. How they took away all our  Hit Point Buffs C. How less likely it is for us to survive running through green zones now. 3. What kind of play style is best suited to your class? A. back up tank? B. back up DPS unit? C. utility buffer 4. In general is it easy to find a group? Pre-changes not at all.   Post changes not at all. 5. How would you compare your class to guardians? We're gimped now compared to them. You stick a berserker and a guardian in the same group the guardian will always be the best tank.  They have more HPS than us, more mitigation buffs and more avoidance.   The days of  actually having to compare stats to choose the best tank between the two is OVER. 6. How do you feel your class does soloing? Against even con mobs and down with no up-arrows we rock.  Against even con mobs and down with one up arrow we do ok.   Against herioc mobs even 8 lvls below us we can not hope to win.   Against yellow/orange mobs no arrows and/or down arrows we can survive. Against yellow/orange solo mobs with 1 arrow up have to use every trick in the book to hope to win. <div></div>
