<DIV>Any hints on how I could do this? I'm lvl 19 and I can't win. With the bunch of 15 lvl heroics I don't even come close.</DIV>

<P>Ok. Here's the bug the mission has. The mission goal is to kill gnoll leaders. The 15 lvl heroics group has one mob that is labeled leader. Still... you don't have to kill him. You don't have to kill anyone in the first pathway either. Just run past them to a safe place in the big area. After that I killed the dark elf (?) at the end of the other pathway, the defiler, and the lone leader. Then the quest was complete. I'm not even sure if the defiler must be killed, but he's a lone mob so it's easy.</P> <P> </P>

The casters were very hard to kill then.</P> <P>But you only need the Target not the dross, so ignore the stupid heroic mobs like you say - until SOE get their brain into gear and fix such stupidity.<BR>Check the quest instructions as well - may be that it's been changed so that you MUST avoid the heroics mobs</P> <P>Sheesh, what next? Red Heroic ^^^ mobs in your Inn rooms?</P>

<DIV>Hey there numb nuts, the heroic mobs are there so you have to think and not just run into the zone killing everything in site. Maybe a little more thinking and less attitude. The mobs were always heroic to persuade you not to attack them.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
I agree. Having been through it , the quest was tough pre-revamp (died twice due to bad pulls). The instance will most definately need to be rebalanced now.

<DIV>The casters where what hurt me....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The others, I was able to handle easily.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Then I discovered that that 4 party of casters in the stone ring is NOT grouped with the one standing on the dias who looks like he's lecturing them.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So the trick is then to kill the wandering group of juveniles with the "leader" so they won't wander up and jump you from behind, then use a bow or throwing hammer to pull the guy standing on the dias in the stone circle where the casters are, kill him before the damned group respawns, THEN move off to the corner with the commander, kill him, and edge around to the gully where the pairs are, kill them until you reach the smuggler and gnoll pair, kill them, and get out...you're done.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You may find it helpful to buy a chameleon imbued hex doll at broker, and sneak around stealthed while spotting "leaders", so you know what I mean...</DIV>
I just finished this last night. I read the quest, note that it says to defeat the leaders using tactics. So as has been said ignore the heroic enounter take out all the defenders. I chose to take out the leader in the far back first then came back and killed the guy in the middle since he is not linked to the spiritualists. The only hard encounter really was the first one of I think it was 3 or 4 roaming gnolls that come down the passage. Guthar <div></div>
