<DIV>All i want SOE is to be able to TAUNT mobs off my group members. It's insane when all a Paladin has to do is put a hate transfer on the main dps in the group and never worry about losing agro. While I have to be sure that I pull the mob, cast several taunts in the process, throw up Offending Defense, then say to my group okay ease into your DPS now. Heaven forbid if one of them pulls agro from me (and that isnt really all that hard) it takes a rescue to get agro back. Its as if Bully (adept III) the new version of Promise of Violence (adpet III), and Fearsome Shout (adept I) dont even work for regaining agro.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Dont get me wrong, I like most of what SOE's done to Zerkers, but not being able to hold agro, without having a hate increase buff on myself from another class is insane. Zerkers are a warrior based class, there is only one class who should be able to hold agro better than us and thats Guards, not Paladins, Bruiser, Monks, or Shadowknights. Whom all seem better at keeping agro either through CA's or outright DPS. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I know I cant be the only Zerker out there having these issues and something needs to be done about it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Adornas Veilkuppler</DIV> <DIV>51 Zerker of the Crushbone server</DIV> <DIV>Proud member of No Debt</DIV>

The class I have trouble with the most when keeping aggro is the bruisers.  I'm not sure if it's just because they go all out at the beginning of the fight without regard to hate management, but I'm pretty sure that's what it is.  Warlocks out dps bruisers 75% of the time and I have no trouble with them.  What I do when someone pulls aggro:  I use our vast number of stuns to ensure they live until the mob dies (which is usually pretty quickly).  I LOVE all the stuns we get.  Raging Blows, Stunning Roar, Slaughter, and Vanquish.  That's 15.5 seconds of stuns.  More than enough time to get aggro back or kill the mob.  In fact, the stuns are one of my favorite things about the berserker class.  They allow us to save ourselves and others when the healer can't keep up or goes LD or isn't paying attention.

Brigands are a pain too.  I don't have too much trouble with casters or healers.  Just other melee classes. <div></div>

At level 52 you can scribe an adept III player made spell. I cant remember it off the top of my head, but essentially here's the break down.... It's close to 400 hate, and also has a 30 second effect. The effect, when hit, has a 50% chance to proc 900-1100 hate. (these values might be reversed on the proc and initial hate). It has a 3minute re-use timer. I'll follow up once I'm at home instead of work and let you know what the spell is named.

<DIV>It's called Insolent Gibe, and here's a pic that includes the App I version: <A href="http://hodstock.com/kono/ad1c269str.jpg" target=_blank>http://hodstock.com/kono/ad1c269str.jpg</A></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The reactive AE taunt proc is only 188 (at App I) but it is also a true AE, ignoring encounters.  If you have more than three or four mobs on you, with a 50% proc chance, this will be firing a <U>lot</U>.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>najena.konk</DIV>

You think that is bad, try grouping with a monk that taunts once after I use rescue and two taunts and he still peels the mob off me like I never even taunted it.

<DIV>Speaking of Rescue...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Does this spell still work the same as it did before?  It seems more effective now, which is good.  To be successful, do you still have to make sure your taunt is the first thing that lands after Rescue is used?</DIV>
