Question about item scaling.

<DIV>I'm pretty new to the game and am a little confused about the change to item scaling with the recent patch.  A day before the patch, when I was lvl 10, I bought a pristine imbued iron great sword which I could barely start using.  It showed the full stats at lvl 20 and had something like 13.6 dps at full power.  But since I was only lvl 10, it only gave me 5 dps, which I understand.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Since then I've gotten to lvl 15 and the stats on the sword haven't changed at all.  It's still 5 dps.  I was under the impression that it would grow in power on the way to 20.  Are the stat changes going to come later (like in the next few lvls) or did the patch turn this 13 something dps sword into a 5 dps sword?  Or am I completely missing something?</DIV>

Your completely missing something, hehe. What you didn't know is that the damage RATINGs on items were cut down hugely. My RGF was formerly 55.1, now its 27.5, yet it does the same damage. So no worries, the rating is lower, but it will be hiting like you were level 20 already, with the full damage =) <div></div>
