Can a berserker keep themselves well equipped in blunt and pierce weapons?

My character is, roleplaying wise, averse to using swords and other slashing weapons. Are there enough drops, especially end game, to keep my character useful in groups without using swords or axes? Or, is this a losing cause? <div></div>

I think you'll find a good variety of stuff for your playing style. Arguably some of the best weapons in the game, tanking or DPS, are crushing weapons. Here is a small list I compiled.        Yup, there are definitely enough blunt weapons for you to roleplay with that are just as good as swords and axes.  The Metallic Hammer 1h is an example as well as the Royal Great Flail 2h which drops a LOT from raid mobs, both are crushing.  Lots of raid mobs are immune to slash too, so even from a practical point it's good to have blunt weapons.  As a dwarf, I like to use axes from a roleplay point of view, but I find there are very few good axes, so I use a sword as my 2h and Screaming Mace as my 1h.  Axes really got the shaft.  I think I've seen maybe 2 fabled axes, both of which are sub par, while there are dozens of fabled swords and daggers and such.  The only axe I have that I actually use is the wyrmsteel axe, and that is really worse than my sword even against drakota.
