For those who have been following along, you will recall that this buff introduced as a full time grp haste and dps buff, at the cost of berserker health per tick. It was then changed to self. Then, with the new rules on haste stacking, they made it so all that it did was proc a weak berserk every 10 seconds that would not stack with any other berserk buff.

They seemed to have scrapped all that and totally made it into a new combat art, which im glad cause the last version was useless. It is now a buff placed on the berserker that converts or has a chance to convert damage taken by the berserker to power for the berserker. I am not at my home puter atm, so i do not recall if it still costs berserker health, but i doubt it as it has a 5 min recast timer. Sounds like an ok skill, far better then the last version of the old buff at least. Will do some testing on it on thursday.

Thanks Gatts (I'm at work, cant post ss of course and was going by what i remembered earlyer) On paper it seems like a decent spell. Will have to see it in live though to get a better idea. The part of it that you have to use it while berserk is no big deal. Recast timer is a bit long, but not too bad. Near the end of a long fight when people are oom and its a close one, this spell could be big.

The skill doesn't look bad but I wanted a skill that give us more haste/DPS at the cost of health -sigh-

Its MUCH better then what VOM was 2 days ago on beta, procing a very weak berserk every 10 seconds, that doesn't stack with infuriate and war call procs.

doesnt work at all atm, tested it on some GREEN mobs that owned me fairly fast due to my 11% avoidence

What is this new option:

- There is now an option called "Enable Target Nearest with Autoattack" that, when enabled, will automatically target the nearest NPC when auto-attack is turned on.

So if I understand, the game will change target for us? No excuse for the slow poke tank? Why not offer us to get the adds as well and auto taunt when needed? This way everyone will be a good tank. /sarcasm

I understand the new option, but I believe it was not needed, players are able to target...

who needs tanks anyway, round shields do the same as tower, Ive got 18% avoidence in full fabled, 11% in offensive stance. Greens don't miss me at all on beta. Game sucks right now there, major changes days before launch are always scary. People could solo to well, so they nerfed avoidence, mages are owning right now, specially summoners.

Exactly I was on earlier today and I was getting eaten by green and blue encounters, where as just a few days ago I could take them easy as it should be since they are green and blue. I dont see where they got the idea to nerf avoidance by 20%+, and then mitigation by somewhere around 650 or so. These recent changes make tanks not even tanks it makes us a useless no dps no tank class. Hell if you want a tank go get a summoners pet.

Khalad I appreciate your info (and your time spent to play on beta/test). I REALLY hope they will revert or change this, as this is ridiculous. So far I did not like the update but I thought I could live with it and have fun anyway, but after seeing this changes and the other change, we will need to find your 51-60 spells, I am seriously thinking about not buying the expansion and leaving.
EDIT: I have found this by Moorguard, no need to comment, everything is there. They do not care if the longstanding players are unhappy and even leave the game, since they will get new players along the way. I feel insulted as a player.

But the impression that the combat changes in SWG resulted in a loss of subscribers is incorrect. Yes, there was a vocal reaction against them from some longstanding players, and some people did unsubscribe. But the net result has been overwhelmingly positive because they have gained players, including quite a few who had quit before and came back to check out the changes.

Message Edited by cr0wangel on 09-09-2005 01:33 AM

All these cool Berserker changes which in mo honest opion are very decent changes, CA wise, can only end in tears after we have spent another 4 months bug reporting and writing up Broken Combat Abilities threads like we did to get what we got now working.

I can feel the nerf bat from here already, just take a deep look at what we get.........take a long hard look.

Message Edited by -Aonein- on 09-10-2005 12:30 PM

I look at VOM from a raid standpoint, a second chance like that can be huge.

Hey Khalad or Konofo, i been meaning to ask you guys if you have had a chance to test riposte's?

Would love to hear some feedback about it or if you can parse the difference between a 2 hander and DW riposte rate.
