<DIV>Ive been searching the forums and ive only been able to find about the new stances on the monk boards but i have sent Konofo and Khalad a PM asking them if they get some spare time over the weekend to please post some shots of the difference.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><A href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=6&message.id=20687" target=_blank><STRONG><FONT color=#ff3300>Here</FONT></STRONG></A> is a link to the monk changes, the differences are quite huge and there is a very very noticeable effect in STR now. The monk in question can buff his attack from 850 to almost 1200. Most of our Defense / Offense stance were the same in reguards to mitigation etc, but this may have changed from class to class.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The thing im mostly worried about is we cant get high amounts of agility like Monks / Brusiers / Scouts can, so for us its going to be hard enough to land succesful hits and with a larger decrease in offensive abilitys of upto 6 lvls, that a huge jump from a 2 and a half level decrease to Slashing, Crushing and Piercing.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyway, hope to hear some feed back and some screen shots soon so we can see what has really changed for us.</DIV>

Are the stats decreases and increases bugged on unbridled fury, or just the damage? +36 to all damage types would be nice <span>:smileyhappy:</span><span></span> <div></div>

<P>Also, even though Unbridled Fury takes 3 Concentration slots, does it bug out and stop processing after a few procs like the current Fury line, making it so that we have to cast it over and over?</P> <P> </P>

<DIV>No, it's perpetual.  And yeah, the offensive boost is pretty significant, which it should be.  I actually think the stances are closer to balanced against each other now, and each is still significant.  I think it really was at a point where people would run around in defensive most of the time, but now I'll switch back and forth a lot more often.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>najena.konk</DIV>

<DIV>About the new stances</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Stances:<BR>- Fighter defensive stances now provide less physical damage mitigation and have greater offensive penalties.<BR>- Fighter offensive stances now provide an increased bonus to offense and steeper defensive penalties.<BR>- Scout defensive stances also have DPS and offensive skill penalties, but their defensive benefits have increased.<BR>- Scout offensive stances now have increased offensive skills and a proc, but have steeper defensive penalties. The positional requirement has been removed.<BR></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyone know why scouts are stances as well? They are not fighters...</DIV>

<P>Id just like to add guys that the way the new Master II selections work every 14 lvls now, all Fighters Defensive Stances have been removed from the lists, so we dont get no choice for Master II Defensive Stance what so ever.</P> <P>This is across the Fighter archtype, not just us.</P>

<STRONG>Stances:<BR></STRONG>- All fighter and rogue stances are now 5s reuse, 0.5s cast time, 0 concentration, and should overwrite a previous stance when the next one is cast. <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Dang. From 3 concentration to 0 concentration. VERY nice. :smileyhappy: The stance were the major thing using concentration, now we have have more buffs up AND a stance.</DIV>

<DIV>SOE cracks me up, the old Master 2 level 60 defensive stance took away what?  10 to crush/pierce/slash and the same 15ish % to speed for 1000+ mitigation.  The new defensive stance takes away nearly 20 to crush/pierce/slash, and returns only 400 mitigation.  </DIV> <DIV>I don't really care that it happened (1k was so much mitigation and would have added about 25% to Khalad's mitigation), but the fact that they overshoot by so much is perpetually funny.</DIV> <DIV>What's next, rampage goes to a 30 minute timer?   LOL</DIV> <DIV><SPAN class=time_text></SPAN> </DIV><p>Message Edited by Sabin the Great on <span class=date_text>09-06-2005</span> <span class=time_text>01:35 PM</span>

<P>This is not related to the stances but I have found this:</P> <P> </P> <P>Broccli wrote:</P> <P><SPAN>Brigand is given tools to tank - taunts, skills that raise hate - heck, they can even use a shield.</SPAN></P> <P><SPAN></SPAN> </P> <P><SPAN>Hmm... a scout class with taunts? I think scouts get stances because they are melee and stances are cool.  In terms of Brigand tanking, we get a taunt (495 hate at adept 1) which I use about once a month, we are limited to round shields which are all useless except for the one from Zalak which has an offensive proc.  In addition all our attacks debuff so they generate extra hate on top of the damage they do which is a bad thing for a scout as we have low HP and wear medium armor so we die way faster than tanks when we pull agro, they are looking at reducing this hate from our attacks in beta so hopefully the agro generated will go down.  Basically we tank when the only alternative tank is a mage. Note: Have a low level alt zerker so I sometimes read these boards but my main is a Brigand. <div></div>

Taunts are the main skills of fighters. This is what we need to get aggro and manage hate. As long as my taunts are good, I won't complain if others get taunts. But it feels strange just as if berserkers were having stealth.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

My main is a Berserker, but I also have a Brigand as an alt.  They get one taunt and it is a single target taunt, they do not get group taunts or the large amount of taunts that fighters get.  I have used it rarely in groups but sometimes I have used it to take aggro off a priest or mage cause with my agilitiy I am able to avoid the damage a bit more and can mitigate some of it cause of the medium armor.  Brigands have had these since the game started as well this is nothing new.<div></div>
