The otherday in the global chat someone said that they had nerfed the benefits of stamina (i.e. HP) all to hell in the patch. I was wondering if someone could confirm or deny this, as I am trying to figure out if I'm takin stam or something else when the patch comes out.

Also, can anyone say if the proc calculation is still the same as it is now: Delay / 3 *Chance to Proc

Message Edited by Sabin the Great on 08-29-2005 01:38 PM
They changed the hp scale, players and npcs. I have 5k on live, unbuiffed, 3800 on beta. Our MT has 4400 on beta, his gear is alot better then mine, and i always go after str first. Mobs die faster though, its just s change in scale, for everything in the game, so not really a nerf.

So I guess the question would be, if I'm going to be tanking alot would taking stamina as a trait choice be useful at all, or is strength or agility a more intelligent use of my traits. I.E. Is the marginal increase from the str/agi better than that of the stamina if I will be tanking and dps'ing about evenly.

Ex. In the games current iteration Stamina is more useful for someone who would do both than would be strength or agility, is that still the case?

Message Edited by Sabin the Great on 08-29-2005 05:03 PM

I wouldnt say AGI, there is a post from some Guards that have shown the difference in AGI effects on Beta.

One guard raised his AGI from 149 to 169 and got a whole 0.1% increase in avoidance.

Judging by STA hardly having a effect on HP now because they made it scale more with lvls instead and AGI having hardly any effect on Avoidance, id be more inclined to say that STR will hardly even play a part in DPS also, see that the results from AGI and STA are minimal at best, wouldnt call it minimal even.

20 AGI = 0.1% avoidance, so what use will our Wall of Fury line really add?
