Atleast now we know what T5 arts are being used at lvl60, so we can get those master/adept3's before axpansion When you said being buffed to lvl60, does that mean GM's made you lvl60 to test high end stuff? And if so, how far you got before that?

Message Edited by Undercova on 08-23-2005 01:55 AM

So, does anyone have any current armor in the expantion?

Actually, I want to go a little further on this point. You can't compare armor on live to armor on test, because the relative mitigation distribution from slot to slot has changed. On live, the chest slot is responsible for the bulk of your mitigation, followed by legs, then shoulders, etc. There is a pecking order of importance if you had the choice of upgrading one slot.

Post-expansion, the chest and leg slots have been reduced in relative importance, and the difference was distributed to the other five slots to equalize them. (Further, jewelry mitigation has been halved.) So now, you can see from the pictures that chest and legs are equal, and head/shoulders/etc. are equal, and only slightly less than the chest and legs.

Finally, mitigation values have been adjusted at least once in the past week or two, so I wouldn't too excited/depressed about anything I linked yet. Earlier during my beta tenure, thulzite vanguard had better mitigation than fabled plate, but now it's less than crafted ebon. I imagine it could end up back above ebon, or it might stay where it is. So I certainly can't recommend making major purchasing decisions based on test data.

najena.konk

can we see [Removed for Content] of what the armor looks like, please? I'd really like to know that factor as well.

Could you give an example of fabled armor mitigation so we can compare to the Indium pictures that you sent. While I realize the armor importance has been smothed, I'd like to get an idea of T5 fabled bp vs T6 rare/common bp. Any slot would be fine and if you could find a rare bp that'd be pretty awesome.

Thanks,
Sab

Wow this sucks. Looks like where gona be the worst tanks after all. All the other tanks get a 700-800 ish mit. self buff. Plus Bruisers and Monks get that plus a 1200 pt mit buff. Hopefully they will give us a self mit buff or we will be inferior to ever other class in mitigation by about 15% including brusiers and monks. As far as the dmg skills go they look better than i thought they were gona be. The upgrade to frenzy looks like its capable of alot. ( and its only app 1). : )

In my eyes indium is kinda crap for T6 armor, even tho its common, but T5 ebon is still better armor, and i guess not many players will buy indium armor, or other common T6 crafted stuff

If I had to take a guess I'd say that the T6 Crafted might wind up at the same mitigation and resists in relation to t5 rare, but I'd wager that the stats will increase on the T6 Common Crafted over the 16 total that it currently is to maybe 18 or so. All in all I think that t6 common gear will still sell some if for no other reason than it has about 100 more resists than the rare T5 stuff, and there's still a decent population of players who aren't full Ebon yet.

Thanks again for posting the pics, its good to know that some of the super high end T5 fabled (Vanguard Gussets of Might, Cryptic Metallic BP, etc) will be very competitive with respect to resists to the T6.

Message Edited by Sabin the Great on 08-25-2005 05:22 PM
