A Berserker on live can tank any raid mob currently in game and there are gonna be better at it after changes. Lousy guardians we are not. In SOEs mind, Warrior means tank, not damage dealer. We have had it nice since november, but thats ending.
I agree.. I'm very dissapointed by the changes.. I might end up just playing my fury alt <div></div>

<div></div><div></div>Well from what I've heard every fighter class is getting its dps nerfed, not just zerkers. Go read the Bruiser forum, they're not happy either. Personally, I'm starting to look forward to the changes. It's either that or be miserable all the time and wind up quitting the game. At least a few things look like they're going to change for the better, so let's look at that. For example, Berserker Assault is becoming a true aoe, not just a 2 target one, and Slaughter is getting throwback and some blurvision effect added to it. <DIV>I have been one of the defenders of the changes, not cause I'm happy to be lessoned, but because its realistic. If we continued to dps as well as we did, while continuing to tank so well, why would anyone play scouts or mages. The ability to take a hit like we do is huge atm on raids. And if we are talking groups, we were tanking and holding agro for that group while doing top dps. I don't blame people for being unhappy, but these changes could not have been a suprise to us. We still do decent dps while playing a role of a tank in groups. We also have very good DPS buffs and a quality str buff. I see berserkers in raids being the tanks in dps grps. And while tanking in a group we will still contribute quality dps while tanking and buffing for the group. Its sad to be loosing what we are, but I can't argue with their logic of doing it. </DIV>

Well we're just gonna have to wait and see how it balances out I guess. I personally don't see why we can't have a class that can tank well and do a decent amount of dps at the same time, as long as it's balanced properly. It's seemed to work just fine for the past 6 months I been playing the game. You have to take into account that as berserkers, that's all we really have going for us...tanking ability and a good amount of melee dps. Scouts and mages can cry about it all they want but they still get a lot more utility stuff than we do to make up for their lack of tanking ability. I say if they want everything we have then they shuda made a zerker. <div></div>

I am not [Removed for Content] or anything about the changes, its just that its going the oposite side of what I am trying to achieve, but even so, I will still try to find a way of getting some good offense in everything, traits and armor still make some variety on our final stats, so that can help alot. I do believe maybe our dps was a little to high compared to the ones of scouts.. I am not very experienced in comparing in groups, but I have heard we can reach or overpass a scout without poison, but of course it depends on many things. I still think we can get some dps that we can't now, with all of the skills that don't have a casting time, you can perform many skills in a few seconds now, and most of our skills use much smaller amount of power, so that will help alot also. I don't know if guards are getting anything like that or not. It will certainly be useful in many situtations and I think we will still be the "aggro gods" that we are now post revamp. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Also, don't forget that the new str buff Tides of War is getting changed into is going to give us a lot more str than we have now, plus if you get that Uthro's Superior Tactics (which I plan on doing as soon as we get that respec) that will be an extra 30 str on top of that. And they're saying that attributies are going to mean more and effect us even more after the revamp than they do now.
