Battle Chant vs War Chant

<DIV>Could some explain why a lvl 24 spell at adept 1 is 1 point better</DIV> <DIV>then a lvl 38 spell at app 4 (upgrade).  Makes me think once I get the adept one</DIV> <DIV>of War Chant it will equal Battle chant 14 lvls lower.</DIV>

Pay attention to the con color of your spells because they do matter.  When a spell becomes white to you then it's maxed out.  If you just got a new spell that's orange to you that means you still have a ways to go yet before the effects on that particular spell will be at their fullest, so the old one you have that a new one you just got is supposed to replace will probably still be at least a little better, especially if you have ad1 on it and only app4 on the new one, until you level more and the new spell upgrades itself, even moreso if you get ad1 or higher on it.  FYI, at level 50 War Chant is blue and with ad3 it gives 20 STR, if that helps. <div></div>

<DIV><FONT face="Comic Sans MS" size=3>This is ONE thing that will be fixed with the new combat revamp. Skills will no longer 'grow' with your char, rather with your NEW app4 war chant will immediately be MUCH better and maxed out (based on upgrade lvl) than your Adept1 Battle Chant. This is ONE thing that I am looking forward to. Also it has been stated that armor and  weapon quality will scale based on tier. For example if I understand correctly two Assault axes, One is Feiyron the other is Feysteel, the FEYSTEEL one (which is the t4 rare) will/should be much better damagewise than the common feiyron version. Not an ideal comparison but indicative, at lvl 50, battle chant adept1 12 str, war chant at master1 21 str. Master level battle chant isnt any higher than 16 str from memory. <div></div>
