What buffs/skills does your class bring to a raid ? How do you get used in a raid ?

I'm compiling a list on eq2raiders.com for each class on what skills/buffs they bring to a raid to make it easier for raid leaders to pick their groups based on the mobs they are facing. I'd really like your input. Give me some details on how raid leaders should best utilise your class in a raid. What skills do you have and what do they do to your group/raid/MT ?

Thanks.

Before or after the combat changes? It appears the difference will be severe.

najena.konk

rightnow..

I will update all the info after the combat changes.

Can buff about 800 hps for the group, 60% haste, 20 str, can power drain, can cast an avoidence buff on an ally (also will cause them to berserk) all fighters have a spell of this sort.

Vehemance is the only one I know about that says can be casted on someone else, but you can't cast it on anyone but yourself, and the CA is totally broken.

No vehemence works just fine. Casting it on a person does not affect their avoidence number, because it is your avoidence parrying for them, not theirs. It also gives them a chance to berserk which dps loves.

Here is a quick way to test it for yourself. Grp with someone and cast it on them, have that person pull mobs and you back away. Stay out of combat and well away from the mob. You will see yourself reposte on the mob from the parrys. Your partner will see the block and parry messages if he or she has all combat filters on.

I am not sure what you mean when you say you can not cast it on someone else. If you are talking about how you can see it on your own effects window, it is there for a reason, it does 3 things:

1. Allows the berserker to block and parry for his target

2. Gives that target a 10% chance to berserk on a succesful attack

3. Gives the caster (the zerker) a 10% chance to berserk on a succesful attack. (which is why it also appears in your effects window)

I have tested this alot and am 100 % sure it is working fine.

Now after combat changes it:

1. Allows the berserker to block and parry for his target

2. Grants an agility buff to the berserker (around 30 at adept 3 i think)

Message Edited by Khalad on 08-19-2005 04:34 PM

Thanks for tip on Vehemence, I just started playing my zerker again a few weeks ago, and before I beleive this ability was totally broken. I tried it out last night on a guardian, he said he was berserking, so I guess it works.

Oh and does this CA have any effect on ourself?

Message Edited by eqaddixx on 08-20-2005 09:35 AM
gives the berserker a 10% chance to berserk on a hit, on beta its a agl buff of like 30 for zerker

No I meant if we target ourself and cast it on us. Or do the effects just work when they are casted on someone else?
