pally or zerker?

Ddsss asked for opinions, and so I am giving mine. Please, no one flame me. If you disagree state your opinion in a kind and helpful manner without the need for rudeness. Paladins wear plate, they taunt, they are tanks. They are great soloers. They get lay of hands, which everyone will agree rocks, and they can combat res. Paladins are holy knights who can ride in on their faithful mount in shining armour and save a maiden or something. Berserkers wear plate, they taunt, they are tanks. They do great DPS and have some awesome AOEs. They are going to have even better buffs and be even better tanks after the revamp, IMO. Berserkers are heck raisers who run in with bared weapons and kick some serious booty. At level 39 I could solo 5-6 ^38 heroic lizardmen in the feerrott. To be quite honest I havent solod much since then, outside of Splitpaw. And well, Harclave isn't really a good example of soloing abilities. Many classes have a hard time with the Splitpaw Solo arena, but I managed to beat it on the third try. I'm sure paladins would be even better. Right now, we berserkers are awesome DPS and good tanks, after the revamp we will be good DPS and awesome tanks. Berserkers are tanks with a slant towards DPS. Paladins are cleric-tanks with a slant toward clericism (I made that word up) or something. Berserkers get better taunts, and have an easier time holding the agro than paladins do because they do so much DPS. Berserkers can also use tower sheilds which are the best in the game and I believe that the best paladins can use are only kite sheilds. I say "I believe" because I do not know if they changed it with the revamp. As of right now, berserkers can use tower sheilds and paladins cannot. Tower sheilds have higher sheild factor than do kites. Really what it comes down to is what you want and how you like to play. <div></div>

The Zerker does that much easier. I like to use a vairiety of weapons. Zerkers get tyhat...and Duel Weild. I love the Offensive Buffs we give ourselves and our teamates...and they love them too. A guardian can DPS almost as much as Zerkers after all the buffs...thats how good they are.</P> <P>So I have found the Zerker more to my likening.</P> <P>Pally was cool, but the DPS was a bit low and in general he just wasn't that good at any one thing. I think my Pally was tougher to solo and tougher to tank than the Zerker. Pally was decent off tank though.
