<DIV>I read these boards and it's the same people saing the same 'omg SOE nerfed me personaly and to hell with everyone else' that they have been saying in MMO's from inception, Lets look at this from a different perspective, regarless of mob a raid group 1 looks similar to this depending on the situation- Guard, Zerk, Pally, Warden, Templar, bard or Guard, Zerk, Defiler, warden, Templar, Wizzie/Warlock (for resists), you can add Brusiers for crush resists and Inq's for dregs and haste etc etc etc.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now, what if they were to change the mob dynamics as well as the players, as of course they will with a makeover of this magnitude, perhaps the newer content is better matched to the changes and we'll simply have to re learn our class a little, no biggie, we adapt to all sorts of stuff in game.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Looks to me that most MT MA groups will still look the same one way or another, mobs will be tweeked over time (as will further class refinements), It's unlikely that your class / role will change significantly, what you were sold as a class will change, but not his role as we'll still be doing the same stuff ingame as we did before, just a different way. If all you ever do is moan about how bad things are getting then perhaps you need to turn off the PC and leave the room for a while and play the game called real life for a while, come back to it and see that it's a video game, like so many others out there, I rarely jump into a game in the first month because of whats happening now, any MMO's first year may as well be considered open beta, once the lions share of the changes have been made then play the game.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I quest only a tiny bit for the 'must have items', I ground the easyest tradeskill there is (Prov) and prety much do 2 things in game aside from shoot the breeze</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1) Farm instnced zones for loot (that aint gonna chainge)</DIV> <DIV>2) Raid every day of the week (that aint gonna change)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thats all there is in EQ2 at 50, craft, loot, raid and socialise, oh that and harvesting</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Provding me with more content is parramount, but alas I'll see little to none of it rushing up to level 60 (kiss all my lovely fabled good buy in 7 weeks) as will all the other hardcore raiders I know, but once there refer to my 'two things left to do in EQ2' and I'll be happy, infact I'm happy that we'll get more dynamic raiding untill we figure out the sweet spot and template each encounter as we do.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>For the more casual minded players theres going to be loads of new content, places to go things to see etc, just some of your arts have changed and we'll all do some re-learning along the way.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It won't be perfect when it gets here but I'm confident the playerbase both casual and hardcore will beat it into a workable shape fairly quickly and gaming will go on.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Embrace change, understand it will have teething problems and work with it to fix it not against it, I have an Illusionist at 40, a Brigand at 49 and my main a 50 Zerker, too much time on my hands perhaps, but i'll be seing a lot of change in one go and I can see some good things in there. I am in a very large raiding guild with a strong casual player base within, I am lucky in that I will see the big picture quickly and we will adapt just as quickly.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm positive about the changes, there comming so stop whinging and start looking at other classes to see where we compliment one another, stacking issuse have been blown away now so things will get very interesting <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
