<DIV>Hello yet again fellow Berzerkers.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have recently taken on a very long vacation from the world of EQ2 or i should say from the world of SoE in a whole to try and free my mind of all the negative feed back the game was taking 8 months ago and have recently looked into the new Expasion which looks quite promising and decided to come back and see how and where the game is headed.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Judging by the forums and what i have read so far, not much has changed since i left, combat arts that were bugged and not working correctly are still bugged now 8 months later yet they still drive to release new content. They have only just fixed ( finally ) some content that has been bugged since beta. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Styker i see your still around mate, good to see some of the orginal Berzerkers are still fighting on. Not much to say outside the fact that a comabt change is coming soon and zerkers will lose dps and have to wear tutu's

Aoenin im still here, the combat changes are now on test, most zerkers are taken aback by them but from what info ive recived on them thru beta ( NDA on combat changes has been lifted so they arent a no no to talk about, just 51+ spells and content ) Berserkers are way more offensive overall now then we have been before, thou we are taking a hit in buffs etc ( no more hp buff, very very limited haste etc ) i think they might work out over all Sucky thing is there is a SERIOUS LACK of berserker class players on test ( ive only seen 2 period the past 4 days and only one is 40+ ) so im worried that they wont get tested enough.... <div></div>

What are we meant to be? What is going to be our postion ( NON DPS wise ) in the class chain? Reason i ask NON DPS wise is because at the moment, and it was quite clear 8 months ago when they spoke of the Scout revamp that we were going to take a hit to our DPS and i think i even mentioned somewhere back then that it was going to be our Auto Attack damage which i believe its going to be for all Fighter class's.</P> <P>If anyone has any links to previous Dev's threads or posts about where Berserkers is going to go and what we are intended to be and what our job description will envolve id be mighty grateful if you can post the links here as i cant seem to find much these days except a whole lot of flaming and bickering.</P> <P>Thanks</P>

Aoenin , the way it looks now bro, we are gonna be true offense tank, ALMOST all of our of buffs that give a chance to proc an attack are AE, also i know that all our AE's now ( slaugther etc ) have a stun componant to it now IMO bro Berserkers are looking really good for both PvE and PvP <div></div>

<div></div>Although I do hope your right Styker I do not see what you see, from the information that has been posted all I see are nerfs. The offensive stance procs an aoe on all mobs in the area not just the target encounter so that will probably hardly ever be used. The HP regen is more of a soloers CA then a group or raid thing, our counter now only works 3 times. Anarchy is gone, rage is gone etc ...  And even if we are better tanks now, which I have never really had an issue with tanking, how many tanks are needed in a group or raid ? Compare that to how many DPSers, buffers, healers and utilities are needed in a group or raid  ?  What is the edge a berserker will have to get picked as MT or MA ? When those two slots are full where is the berserkers place gonna be ?  I will admit I am bitter about having changes jammed down my throat and I can hardly even bring myself to play at all, I knew changes where coming yes but not an entire change of the core mechanicsand CAs of my class. <div></div><p>Message Edited by Dak-Dod on <span class=date_text>08-07-2005</span> <span class=time_text>09:26 PM</span>

I can't imagine the mitigation is going to stay where it is.  Guardians are reporting haveing the same mitigation in full ebon, as they are in fabled, due to the cap.

For all I know they may leave it like that.  Fabled gear gives less of an avoidence penalty then Legendary.  They may say that the lesser avoidence penalty and the stats you get from fabled are the reason you want to upgrade.  And mitigation on them will be the same.  I really do not like that though.  We'll see,
