<DIV>I really cant wait for pvp, my main opponent will be messing around with my Bruiser friend and my guildes. I remember someone had posted a list of fights and outcomes when /duel went to test. If I remember correctly, the zerker faired extremely well. Buuuut... everything is going to change when the combat revamp. So who knows. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

I was thinking about this a lot recently and I figure that if (in our present state) we can get up on people in melee, enough to land a spell on them, we can beat most anyone. Think about it, you run up on X_scout, land raging blows, bam stunned, drop Frenzy on them, 1000ish hp gone, then hit them with Relentless battering for an interrupt + dmg, then drop Vanquish on them for a medium duration stun, as they are stunned hit em with wallop, mutilate, and rupture. I dont care what kind of damage they get on you in the mean time, if we can get up on someone I think we win. Possible exceptions being against Pally's and SKs b/c they can kite us, but then again if you have ebon arrows and a Pristine Imbued bow, you should be able to kite them too. If us zerkers can get our resistances buffed up, and if you use your Uthos Defiant Cry for +spellavoidance, and wear a zig's wing for +2 spellavoidance, then I think we could own down on some mages too. If we can resit 1 root and get up on them, we win. Aside from bruisers, assassins, and maybe a brigand or ranger we can drop the most DPS melee on a target in the shortest amount of time. And with mages having such low hp we can rip them up in less than 5 skills probably, especially if you are using an RGF or another good 2hc. A Guardian and Zerker fight would be boring, but I think eventually the Zerker wins that. I'd put a Zerker up against most any class, even healers. Only casters that could hurt us would be Conjurors if they put Stoneskin up, spam interrupts and hit us with DoT's plus pet. I think we could easily get around Wizzy and Warlock stifles, b/c if we get 2-3 2h melee his in, they are down near 1/2hp, then when the stifle wears off you hit raging blows and Vanquish and frenzy and win. The fact that our melee skills cast while we're on a full run while a Caster has to be standing still will be difficult to balance I would think.

<div></div>I played on Tallon Zek for 5 1/2 years (I loved PVP!) so I kind of have a idea on what SOE will probably do when they start the PVP servers here. Expect all your dmg dealing CA's to only hit for 1/3 to 1/2 of what it currently hits for. They are talking on the pvp forums that maybe melle's taunts will be used somehow so we don't loose 1/3 of our combat abilites. I figure classes that can root/snare will own all. I wouldn't be surprised if Troubador's don't come out towards the top (they have ranged atks as well as DD songs they can cast on the run). I think in a group setting we will do extremely well, but solo I see us more in the middle unless we can gain the element of surprise. There's just too many classes out there that get root/snare spells for us to chase someone down. Imagine the solo arena.....we are the Pit champion...the classes that can smoke that guy will smoke us. Just my thoughts though. <div></div>
Since Destructive Rage was changed to an HP regen buff, get some regen items and hit the cap, will help alot with PvP <div></div>

<P><FONT color=#ff3300>I don't think there has been any information on the pvp skill changes on the berserker yet, many skills will be changed for every class when you encounter pvp, for example a taunt gives 400 hate, in pvp it could give 800 hate or it could give 200 hate, those things haven't been told yet (for what I know) so we can't really determine how any class will work out in pvp yet, I don't think you will even be able to one hit kill in pvp, maybe instead of dealing 100% damage it will only do 40%, you never know what they are going to do.. and even less now that our whole class skills are being nerfed.</FONT></P> <P><FONT color=#ff3300>Good Luck!</FONT></P>
