<DIV>Well, after a very long grind I finaly hit 30 - bought some nice new goodies and did some old quests ... but now what. This may sound dumb, but I'm not sure how I should continue from here. I really don't know of any big quests, and I don't think I'm on enough to join a guild - so what should I do. To be honest I would like nothing more than to advance as far in the game as I can, and enjoy all the perks along the way ....  I'm just not sure how I should go about doing it. If anyone has the time, please lend a hand.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>                                                                        </DIV>

There are plenty of guilds that welcome casual members if you are not online alot.  You may wish to post something like this on your server's section on these boards.  Might be the best idea to find something that will fit your playstyle.

<P>Consider working on some Heritage quests.</P> <P>The PGT is (IMHO) the best utility weapon for this class. May take you a little while without a guild, but (depending on server) there seem to be a lot of people either working on these periodically or willing to help on steps (as they faced the same and remember the pain):smileywink:  SBH was also very good, but at 30 you are at the upper end of its usefulness I think - but it sells for 20GP.</P> <P>Also, if you have Splitpaw - give it a shot. Lots of solo content that I have found very doable for this class.</P> <DIV>I too play sporadically, solo most of the time (or duo box) - I will look for others in OOC looking for help / groups, give them a hand and most times, they will return the favor.</DIV>

There are always the heritage quests if you haven't started on them already. Some result in nice weapons and other gear - if you do join a guild they all have a nice payoff in guild status points to help your guild level up. At 30 you could do the Polished Granite Tomohawk quest, the Restoring Ghoulbane quest, Fishbone Earring etc. - the Dwarven Workboots and Lightstone will be blue or green to you by the time you do em - if you haven't already - but they still have a nice status reward and I believe they lower rent on housing beyond the starter apartment. These are all long multi part quests that will probably take several levels to complete and you can have all of them active at once - so you'll never be at a loss for something to do. :smileywink:

A great zone is Nek Castle (my favored one). Many quests are there, good background story and nice loot for the 30s. Not that big quests but quite good rewards you can get from the armor quests in Enchanted Land / Zek. Sometimes there are pickup raids in the Cauldron Hollow. Your level should be perfect for this raiding zone. <div></div>

<div></div>PGT is a great one, and the SBH is another easy one for you to do (as both was stated)  People responding to your post is hitting it dead on for your level, Nek castle, breaking into Zek, Splitpaw solo and group instances/quests.  Do the hertiages in Enchanted land as well, the bag one their is easy to do and at lvl 30 would be great exp if not down right insane exp at your level (you might be just a smoch low for it, been awhile since I did it).  Also do the several several quests in Zek and EL.  The operation Greenhood is a great one, lot's of DPS out there looking for a TANK.  If you have just 2 hours a night you could accomplish alot.  Go to { http://eq2.ogaming.com/db/layouts/quests_results.php?na=1&heritage=1 } that's their hertiage list, they have level's next to the names of the hertiages to let you know when you can start them.  Ogaming site is just chalk full of useful info about quests and such as well, one of the best sites out there for EQ2 info. <div></div>

Not sure if you have to be 32 or 34 for the Serrated Bone Dirk quest. But level 32 or 34 arn't that far away from level 30.</span><div></div>

Very well could be, it's been along time since I did it....just conveing that there is a ton of stuff to do after lvl 30, it dosn't stagnate hehe.  I think the serrated bone hertiage is lvl 35 too.  Also been several months ago since I did it lol so double check! <div></div>
