Piercing Weapon - which to use with the upcoming changes?

Imbued ebon great spear is pretty good for 2 hander, with +11 str and +6 agi, 2.3 sec delay, for 1 hander irk and spear are pretty same, spear has +3 agi +7 str with 1.8 sec delay, and dirk comes with +2 str +8 agi and 1.5 sec delay I would take great spear, imo its better use for ebon than one handers <div></div>

I don't know how much cash you have. You could buy a severed cedar (30g on my server compared to 2p for ebon cluster) and find a woodworker to make you an imbued cedar pike (87-260 2.3sec 3str 6agi 11wis 10int 51HP 51power if eq2players is right). Sure str /agi are lower compared to the great spear / dirk but the 11wis could be handy for "spell mitigation" <b><strike>if</strike></b> when the combat updates comes (caster's int compared to the target's wis are a factor for the damge done by spells) <div></div>
