<DIV>A friend of mine in game plays a berserker and isn't quite sure how she can pull aggro off of another tank when she needs to (this is for raiding strategies). </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Would one of you veterans in the know explain the process you use to "peel" mobs off of an encounter?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thank you</DIV>

<DIV>Use Promise of Violence to put yourself at the top of the hate list and then use a regular taunt (like Bully) to build up aggro over the main tank. I suggest selecting your target, turning autoattack on, then run in and hit Promise of Violence and then Bully ASAP! Once that is done you should be able to back up and the mob should follow. You should have aggro from that and you can pull it back. If you don't then the main tank must have done something to generate more aggro than Bully after you cast Promise but before your Bully went off. If so, just repeat in 10 seconds when both Promise and Bully recycle. You can also use that combo to save anyone that needs saving (like if the chanter or a nuker draws aggro). </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Another note for raid peeling. If you absolutely need to peel from a distance.. I know rangers with nice weapons usually don't have a problem peeling adds off the main tank with ranged attacks. When the mob comes running in, a berserker can just peel it off the ranger while everyone stays out of the range of any nasty AOEs the main mob is doing.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The most reliable way is to just run in after the AoE goes off as the Berserker combo is pretty much garunteed to peel.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
