So far the standard solution is be in full legendary kit and at least in the upper 40s. I am going to keep trying to the guy in my slightly above average kit with my mid twenties zerker and see if I can find something other than a lucky string of procs. Will post to the other thread if I find anything. <div></div>

I have only done the solo arena like 3 times.  The first time the champ feared me and I got stuck in the bones.  I couldn't see him but he could see me and killed me.  I fought him again and power drained him with no quarter before i began to do alot of damage to him.  The third time was in very hard, fought him strait up and won with like 30% life yet.  My gear is like half ebon half fabled.

50 berserk with almost all my left side filled with Ebon goodness... Used a cedar tower and imbued long sword. Could take the champ down to yellow, while I'm still green then all a sudden the guy goes ape[expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] on me. The closest I've come is probably below 20% somewhere. Definetely in the deep red, but he owns me after the fight has reached a certain point... I'll get his [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] though. <div></div>

<P> </P> <P> At level 40 I did it, but I would not bet my armor that I could succeed a second time, it was partially luck.  I went in with the best damage weapon I could acquire, I made myself damage mitigation, str/sta, and divine/magic protection, and health regen potions, and went in fully buffed, including casting Unyielding Will upon myself (K'Lorn magic, crafted only). I used every stun, knockdown, and Balok's Stifle.  He was at about 20% when I went down the first time, Unyielding Will brought me back up and I had enough health to just barely finish him with 40 seconds to spare. </P> <P> I had just enough time to update the quest and gain my new Azure Shard, then as I listened to the praise of the pitmaster, I dropped dead.  </P> <P> IMO he is way too powerful.  I don't have uber equipment, but my equipment is not shoddy either.  It is mostly white to orange.  The fact that I had to use Unyielding Will tells me he is not a proper challenge to Berserkers.  I cannot speak for any other professions. </P> <P> </P> <P> </P><p>Message Edited by einar438 on <span class=date_text>07-15-2005</span> <span class=time_text>09:05 AM</span>

<P>Hmmmm, i really didnt know my fellow zerks were having so much trouble with this mob.....I even took off all my Fabled gear to give it a shot with pure ebon and still thought he was easy:smileywink:, allthough i parse 300+ dps, all i can say it stun the [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] out of em and burn em !!!! Even though an encounter scales, what is not factored in are the combat arts and geometric scaling of gear that happens with leveling. The issue I am seeing is with level 30-40 berserkers having a problem.  </P> <P> </P> <P> </P>

<span>I finally beat him today as a level  41.3 zerker. Imbued Ebon Breastplate - rest Fulginate Primary: PGT Secondary: Pristine Imbued Cedar Cudgel I just tried to keep him stunned and use my interrupts as much as possible.  I ended the fight with 65% health and 50% power.  I tried him last night, after his revamp, and still got owned - so I think there's probably a bit of luck involved for those of us who aren't in lvl 50 fabled gear. </span><div></div>

<P>I think you are right...it is all a matter of equipment and the lvl of your skills. My berserker, lvl 50 with alot of master/adept IIIs and fabled/ebon all over has no problems whatsoever. Have killed him 8 times now, 6 of those on very hard....and I usually have 50-70% hp left. Then I tried with my lvl 26 troubadour...and now I can see your problems. I had to evac when I reached the 3rd monster on the easy version..../sigh. So equipment and spells are what really counts here. And all those below 40 do not have alot of fabled and adept III.</P> <P> </P> <P>Bravesword, lvl 50 berserker</P> <P> </P>
