View Full Version : Which combat arts still stack?

I am obviously very naive but right through to lvl 45 I have simply been replacing combat arts with there higher level versions as they became available without once checking to see if they stack. Now looking in these forums I realise how dumb I have been. So the question is.... which zerker combat arts stack...what does everyone else use?

I grouped with some folks the other day who had previously grouped with other bersekers. They joined me and their HP went THROUGH THE ROOF. They were flabberghasted. They asked if I had my buffs Master or Adept3 quality, to which I answered not really. They just weren't used to Berserkers who used all their buffs at the same time. :smileywink: However, at 48, I keep up ALL of my HP buffs at all times. Though the effects don't always stack, the hit points sure do. It's a lot more work to do things this way, but the payoff is a beefy hit point total. :smileyhappy: My advice, go through and try all of your buffs together. Even the ones that share reuse timers. When all buffs are loaded you're still going to have Tides of War group haste, Screaming fury incidental haste and hit points from everything down to Battle Tactics. =P (( at 45.. iirc ))

At level 50 it seems like you have many choices of what buffs to use. However, many of your older buffs become overwritten by their higher level replacements.

You can get the haste from Screaming Fury and Tides of War together, but when Screaming Fury is replaced by Destructive Rage, you can't use all three. Fortunately, you can stack Infuriate with anything.

Also, Controlled Rage will not stack with Unflinching Will, so you must decide which to use, if either one, depending on your situation.

If at level 30 you decided to take Ulthro's Superior Tactics, the STR buff from that stacks with the STR from War Chant and Anarchy.

I also found that, becuase they are on the same timer, you cannot stack Tides of War with Bloodlust or Call To Arms.

But, yes, all buffs that give an increase to HP can be stacked with your other HP buffs. At 50, I have four such buffs. They are all on the same 1 min timer so it is a pain to get them all up, but adding more than a thousand points to the group's health is pretty fine.

Well, I was playing with this last night.

Basically, all my 10 min buffs stack (at least the HP bits do). Some share a re-use timer (30secs or 1 min), but if you wait, it will stack.

So Tides of War, then Bloodlust, then Call to Arms - all stack nicely, give a very tasty HP Buff

Uthros's Special Tactics and Screamign Fury both stack, again, nice HP buff, and STR and Haste!

Glad I discovered this! Made me laugh out loud watchign my HP go through the roof. OK, so it now takes 3 mins to fully buff, but if you set up a buff hotbar, then you just keep then rolling on.

I checked this out using the character window. All the health buffs do stack but all of the (non trait) buffs for attack speed and slash/pierce/crush increases dont stack however attack speed does stack with two moves on different reuse timers.
