Uthros Superior Tactics and Battle Tactics Stealth Nerf :(

<div></div>Uthros' Superior Tactics (level 30 specialty skill) and Battle Tactics no longer stack like they did before the patch.  Before the patch you could have both of them on you at the same time, and it made for a nice double buff.  Today if you have Uthros on and click on Battle Tactics you get the "Would Not Take Effect" message.  I'm betting this happens on other spells that have previously stacked before. It's not that I'm particularly upset that this change was made. I always thought it was kind of silly to have these two stack on eachother when they share the same timer and therefore probably were not intended to.  I just wish the developers had the integrity (or organization, if it was a missed change) to put these sort of changes in their patch notes.  The way it is now, this was just an unecessary unwelcome surprise when I got in game and tried to buff myself. <div></div><p>Message Edited by Frownyfish on <span class=date_text>06-28-2005</span> <span class=time_text>12:41 PM</span>

The fact that it DID stack was a bug, we were never intended to stack all of our group hitpoint buffs. They are meant to replace eachother as we level. Yeah it was nice while it lasted. But it wasnt a "nerf" It was a fix.

The stacking issue is one thing but for a Guardian and a Berserker to have ZERO sackablilty is another...... i just confirmed with a Guildie who is a Guardian...   Return to Battle no longer stacks with our Destructive Rage hp buff........... They needed to fix the buff stacking from stacking the same line buffs but cmon now Guardian and Berserker is a different Warrior type..... Total BS i tell you <div></div>

It's what happens when eight months go by, then major changes are made. It becomes almost irrelevant how things were intended. Gameplay revolves around the state of the game, unintended bugs and all. If you go so long without doing anything, you radically alter what people are used to. What's the lesson? Don't release games until they are finished. <div></div>

<P>Uthro's and Battle Tactics still stack. However Uthro's and destructive rage will not stack. Uthro's should be on the same buff line as battle tactics and war chant though and still be able to stack with destructive rage.
