Hi All, The following is my opinion from my own experience upgrading my own Berserker. I'm not going to bother posting screens of the adept III damage or anything. However, my Berserker at level 35 has the following adept III's: Maul Berserker Barrage Vicous Blow Furious Rush Stunning Cry Stomp Whirlwind I highly reccommend them all... And, I have Relentless Battering waiting in the bank for me when I get to lvl 39. I also have a rough ruby waiting to start my T5 Adept III's as well. I think making my damage and DOT's adept III's was a great choice. Currently, I am dual wielding PGT and Pristine Imbued Feysteel Kai (gleeming strike proc). I have always spent my money on my combat arts rather than wasting it on rare armor (until T5 anyway). I don't make buffs or taunts adept III, I keep them at adept I, I think the damage and dot arts are the way to go with adept III's. With these combat arts at adept III, It is quite easy for me to keep agro at level 35 let alone do very impressive damage. I was in a group with a 42 Paladin and I constanly stole agro from him. I tanked the Captain in Cove of Decay yesterday (^^^), and none of the wizards or anyone else could ever steel agro from me. Aside from grouping, my soloing and teaming rocks! I can team with a healer and have lots of fun and never lose agro. The key is to tell your healer not to pre-cast reactive heals, heals over time, or wards until half your health is gone, then you don't lose agro after that. Many times I read what players want for "one" adept III. Although if I could have only one, I would choose Berserker Barrage just since its so much fun, not for any practical reason (though it is very useful). The key is to get them all adept III, so go and harvest those rough opals and ruthenium clusters, or loot opals from mobs, but get your arts upgraded to adept III. It makes a big difference. You can harvest T4 in Blood Skull Valley easily if you agro the lookout but don't kill him. You can zone in and out as much as you want. Also, Cove of Decay has T4 harvesting and you can zone in and out as long as you don't kill Octogoron. Don't make the mistake of focusing only on armor and weapons and leave your combat arts un-attended. I have a level 45 Alchemist alt, and it suprises me that Guardians and Paladins are always requesting adept III's from me. They bring me Jaspers, opals, or rubies and I make them the upgrade and they love it. On my server, I have 4 server discoveries, all from guess what? That's right, Berserker adept III's for my own Berserker. I guess Berserkers think adept 1's are enough. If you really want to set yourself apart, get adept III's on your damage and dots. More advice: Get an Alchemist to make you the lvl 35 ugprade: Unyielding Will appIV. It is from Bloodlines and if you don't do the quest you can't get it unless an alchemist makes it for you.

Message Edited by b00gjuice on 06-27-2005 10:38 AM
