<DIV>I am aware that strength effects how much you can carry but how does it effect damage you deal in combat? I have equipped weapons and armor that have strength bonuses but have seen no real effect to increased damage I do in combat. I have equipped items with stamina bonuses and can clearly see the effects right away by the increase in my hit points. If anyone can advice me how strength plays a role in combat damage I would be very greatful. If this is the case, I will begin to look for weapons and armor that have stamina bonuses and disregard those with strength on them. Thanks in advance for any information you can give me.</DIV>

Uh.. its like.. 100str=125% and 400=175%.. forgot others ;o
<DIV>I can't say how much. but ive loaded up on alot of str of late and seen overall damage go up. After the combat changes it's supposed to affect damage more from what I have read. STR also effects fighter's power pool.</DIV>
It is very simple. Add str and examine the combat arts. Let me give you an example. 140 str, Vanguish adept 3 does ----------- 867 damage. 285 str, Vanguish adept 3 does ----------- 960 damage. See, it is easy. There is a critical increase too at 200, 300 and 400. I belive at 400 str you do 150% increase in dps. Hope this helps.
