What good is a berserker for the rest of the game? 23 [Archive]

Im a twenty three level berserker, i have been tanking for every group of friends ive had and i havent found a chance to solo, because i always seem to die without good armor, and without good monsters for exp, i wish to know what the best things to do are for the next twenty 7 levels.Thanks,Jacques

I have never had problems soloing my Berserker at any level. However if you wish to stay the course go spend the next 9 levels in Varsoon, the next 3 in RE, then next 5 in RV, then the next 5 in CT and the last 5 on Sol. </DIV>

yea...if u have AQ arimor from head to toe, u are well equpted to solo just fine...we are one of the better soloing classes. So you may just need help on some of the finer points...ill give some general tips that may help. 1. Use HO's 2. Have app4 art/spells or better 3. Use Soldiers Stance the whole time and the other long term buff we have. 4. Eat the Dried Meat and Spring Water, they will give you the cheapest and just fine energy for the fights. 5. you are able to solo up to orange solo mobs and green^^ solo mobs, so have at it. 6. Use all your buffs and once they time out re-activate them, they really make a big difference...here they are...use them! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 22 - Fury : Chance to attack back when hit --- 36.6 - Greater Fury 22.6 - Enrage : AoE Taunt + chance to Berserk --- 36 - Sunder 23 - Berserker:Bloodlust : Group offense buff + chance to berserk --- 37 - Tides of War <DIV> 20 - Focus Rage : Go Berserk (Attack speed and strength buff for reduced defense) 19 - Battle Tactics : Group HP buff 16 - Soldier's Stance : Increases defense but reduces offense 12 - Rallying Cry : Raises party defense against slashing, crushing and piercin At 24 you will get Battle chant which is a Str Buff. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------7. Use DW or 2handed....you will do great...... 8. I would stay way from Blood Rage as a solo because of the drop in health...though it can be used with caution....let it tick a power tick back first....but i dun use it soloing. If you do these things...yoiu will be soloing machine able to lvl twice a week killing things urself. Maybe go find a healer on the LFG list and take on bigger mobs too. At your lvl, TS had plenty to solo. If you are taking on the mobs with alot of agro around them, pull to a safe area to do the fighting then go back again and pull another. Have fun. Perhaps you could tell us what exactly you are having trouble soloing? I just hit 27 this morning and I've solo'd probably 80-90% of the time. I can take orange cons or ^^ greens without a problem (though it IS a fight) and can solo large groups of green and blue cons. If you are having problems getting good armor then start your AQ quests. Or, since you seem to have plenty of alts for funds, buy the AQ armor off the AH. It's called Hearth Forged so you have Hearth Forged shoulders, Hearth Forged boots, etc. <div></div>
