Any suggestions what to do? -level 50 berserker here-

<DIV>Hi! I reached level 50 berserker. I am glad to be 50, but you guessed it, I am a little bit bored.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am not a crafter, I hate crafting, so I won't start working on this. Beside going back and do the quests I missed, anything else I could do to fight the boredom? I tried to mentor lower levels, most of the time they don't want me to join their group or help them, saying I am too high level, they will rather have someone of their level. I wanted to raid of course, but my huge guild just go crap and there is no possibility to raid for me now. Any good quests I could do? Anything I can work on? Any suggestions will help.</DIV>

<P>If you want to raid, there's no reason you can't raid. If you take the time to ask around on your server I am sure you find dozens of people in the same situation as yourself (want to raid, but have no "raiding guild" to do it with).</P> <P>My suggestion is to find a dozen or so people and make a semi-regular raid force (doesn't need to be 4 groups - you can fill it with almost anyone who wants to join) and take on the easier instances (Zalak, Drayek, etc) 3 times a week or so. </P> <P>Fairly quickly, you'll gain practice, get some good loot, more experience and more people interested in it, which will allow you to take on tougher fights. After that, you might end up having the framework of a good, solid guild to continue with, or keep it going with allied guilds. Either way, you'll have had a lot more fun than harvesting, or mentoring any level 30 who'll be your friend <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P>

<DIV>Hmm I am on lucan dlere server, I don't know the situation on others servers, but on my server people raid in guild mostly. Publi raids happen, but its rare and they usually result in wipe and failure. There are mostly 3 or 4 guilds raiding on my server. I was part of one, it crumbled, one is not recruiting for now as they have already a lot of members, 2 others I don't like. So I cannot really join any. I don't know if it's the same on others servers, but most raids are guild only and don't accept strangers.</DIV>

<DIV>Yes, there will be different situations on different servers, but I can assure you that there are many small guilds on your server with many players in the same boat as you - try talking to them (or if you don't want to do the leg-work, find someone who is good at that).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Who cares if you wipe a few times? Who cares if it takes a few raids before you succeed? Are you looking to maintain your kills vs deaths ratio, or are you looking to enjoy playing the game? I can bet that after a few days you'll be able to knock Zalak and Drayek over without breaking much of a sweat and won't be posting on here about being completely bored and only able to harvest/craft.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As reference, this is what I did (my guild had 6 level 50s and not much else), so we got together with half a dozen other small guilds, or individuals and started knocking over Zalak, Drayek, Lagoon, Lich, etc, and now we're a decetly-equipped, prismatic-wielding raid alliance.</DIV>

Still haven't finished the FBSS quest, but I think it's the best belt you can get other than some fabled drops.  I did the quest for the Ancient Slayer ring, just to sell it for 50gp, I don't think 3% haste is worth the 50gp.  I'm using 3 imbued bloodstone rings (Str, Sta, Agi) equip 2, swap out the other to do the buff. Don't remember what I have for a 2h right now, because I rarely use it.  If I can get my hands on one of the 2hs that has 55 damage rating, I'll switch but for now its dual wield for me. I think the Shimmering Star BP is one of the best BPs in the game, so you'll definitely wanna hang on to it. I don't have too many problems with controlling aggro.  Only problem I have is getting aggro back quickly from some overzealous dps machines. If you aren't main tank, don't buff during the fight, don't cast any taunts, and don't burn through your power really quick.  You just have to push the damage as much as possible to figure out how much you can push it.  In other words, go hard until you get aggro, then scale it back each fight until you are doing as much damage as possible without getting aggro. Another note about armor, I don't think I've ever had a full set of anything.  I'm pretty [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] about upgrading my armor as soon as something better is available.  And usually that means that I don't ever have a matching set.  I personally don't care if it all matches, I want the best stuff to make my life easier. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></span><div></div>
