<DIV>I have a lvl 24 Zerker and am on a personal mission to get the right quests, the right equip, and any rares that are coveted by our class.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I already have Sword of Thunder and cant wait for EBBC.  I am not trying to rush the lvls.  I want to do things right and have a Bad [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] high lvl Zerker w/ the best armor, weapon, mount, activateable....everything!!  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Please help me make a list of items/quests/drops or anything else that is just Bad [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] for us to use.  I am not really worried about low lvl stuff (lvl24-40) unless it really rocks and is not going to be murder trying to get.  Reason being, i dont like wasting money or time on someting i will use for only 7 lvls.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thnk you. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Icegod Stormbrew 24 Zerker/12 Outfitter</DIV> <DIV>Ktara Witchbrew 25 Warlock/ 21 Sage</DIV>

<DIV>Heritage quests can yield some great equipment for us Berserkers.  Specifically the Polished Granite Tomahawk and the Shiny Brass Halberd. You can equip the PGT at level 32, and the SBH at 27. When you hit level 25, start your SBH, and 30 for the PGT.  These are some of the best weapons you can use through your 30's.  If you haven't done your Armor Quests yet, those are some great items that will last you until your 30.  You'll get a lot of good experience as well doing those quests.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------</DIV> <DIV>Quote:</DIV> <DIV>Reason being, i dont like wasting money or time on someting i will use for only 7 lvls.</DIV> <DIV>-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In all honesty, until you get into your upper 40's your going to be replacing equipment and weapons about every 7-10 levels....so get used to it.  Unless of course you want to use gear until it goes grey....which isn't very recommended since you'll most likely be doing a lot of tanking and soloing.  You'll need good gear and weapons to keep you alive.  If your not worried about leveling fast then the funds and drops will take care of themselves.</DIV>

Case in point - EBBC. By the time I did that heritage, I already had a MUCH better 2hs and I was glad I didn't waste much time trying to get a Sword of Thunder... being honest, there is no real way to avoid replacing your gear with upgrades later on as there is no way you can start with the best stuff (if you could, it would be a pretty dull endgame).<BR></DIV></DIV><p>Message Edited by Pin StNeedles on <span class=date_text>06-07-2005</span> <span class=time_text>01:53 PM</span>

<DIV>Most important at every tier change (20, 30, 40) is a full set of rare armor, imbued in the appropriate slots.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As well as an imbued rare metal weapon, except perhaps at T5, where you can buy, for a few plat, a high end weapon.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You can also get rare imbued rings at every tier change as well.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Then there are Adept 3s.  Many of the zerker I found were good to upgrade, except T4 seems to have a lot of broken or unscaling spells in the first half of the tier.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This of course costs a lot.  Is it worth it?  My zerker is level 30 and has 3094 hp when buffed by a Templar alone, and frequently tanks ^^ mobs 5 or 6 levels above him in the zerker/templar duo.  It's been worth it to me.  Ultimately, "waste" is subjective.  So you decide how far you want to take it.  If you really want the best at every level, be prepared to spend at least 3-5 plat by level 20 (with a full set of combat ability upgrades ready till 30).</DIV>

<P>No sense wasting time, I suggest you get started on the 'To speak as a dragon' quest.</P> <P> </P>

imo, if u dun want to *waste money* on buying gear, easiest way is get yourself an armorer, a weaponsmith, jeweler, sage, and woodworker to 50, thus, u wont need to buy gear and wont waste money on others

<P>The BBC is a very reliable weapon. One thing to keep in mind. Most (and likely all) of the weapons that class better than the BBC are dropped by raid mobs. Most of those are immune to anything but legendary or better weapons. Luckily, the BBC and EBBC class as legendary. Some mobs might be immune to slashing so you won't be able to use it every time (same goes for any singular weapon type). Up through 50 however, it will easily hold you until you nab a nice fabled weapon from a raid drop/master chest. </P> <P>The PGT, my oh my.. definately get that as soon as you can and pair it up with another dual. Use it straight through to 50 when you grind. It procs with a ward, power boost and a strength buff all at once. It's a low level weapon, well.. midranged and it can't hit the high level raid mobs due to it being to weak despite it being legendary. It is a solid weapon however to grind your way up there.</P> <P>Armor? Most likely you'll want several sets. But to be the most prepared at any given time I'd look at the thulzite stuff that drops in the new frog zone. It has some stat bonuses, not too much, but it has more mitigation than pristine forged ebon and every piece has +160 to all resists. It's only a treasuered item so it drops fairly frequently, but at that point you'll need to be in a solid raid guild. I'd start harvesting and try to mine T5 ores to get a full set of ebon unless you manage to find some better drops beforehand.</P> <P>HQs and collection quests will have some nice jewelry pieces in store as you level up and definately don't miss the FBSS although I wouldn't bother keeping it for the haste effect alone, only if the stats/resists are better than whatever else you find (Zerkers are usually maxed with haste anyway from buffs and from zerking). </P> <P>One thing to keep in mind... Don't let that +8 STR or what have you be the deciding factor all the time. Resists are very important in the high end and can make the difference between staying the fight or dropping dead after the first AoE.</P> <P> </P>

<div></div>I'm supprised no one has mentioned the heriphants crook, also a heritage item FYI OP. It has the same dmg rating as the BBC and only two less the the EBBC but with a much better proc IMO. At 47 before i got a fabled the proc was doing about 100dmg to the entire encounter when it went off. Personally i think thats much better then the EBBC proc but some people like that one better for the stun. I would say go for the Crook and forget about the EBBC unless you acutally find an ebon cluster yourself. Ebon clusters go for about 2.5 -3 plat or so and are required for the EBBC and BBC. I bargened for my fabled weapon for about 1.8 plat and some trades. I often see fableds of the same dmg rating and proc dmg as my hammer going for about 3 plat or so (about the same plat as that ebon cluster you'd be using to get your EBBC with a lower dmg rating and not as good of a proc. So in my opinion save your money for a fabled they are much better and cost about the same if you have to buy ebon anyway. The crook is free of charge and just as good if not better then the EBBC because of the proc and similar dmg and stats. FYI:    Fabled weapon:    55.1 dmg rating + ~100 dmg proc           EBBC:                   52  + ~100 dmg proc (i think) + stun           HC:                        50  + ~100 dmg proc to the entire encounter.           BBC:                      50  no proc Also i always try and go for dmg rating as it affects how hard your abilities hit also. <div></div>

Definately a good weapon though so as long as you are aware of when you need to lay off the AoE attacks.</P> <P>I'm not sure those numbers are entirely correct though and I was unaware that the EBBC stuns. As far as I know, it doesn't but i could be wrong.</P> <P> </P>
