<div></div>Because it stuns, the mob is to powerful to be stunned, it is after all a dragon, or a giant king or some other incredibly powerful beasty. You scream at a persons from 1 foot away and ya they are stunned, go try that on an elephant from a few yards, they will either look at you funny or smack you upside the head with thier trunk, I highly doubt they will fall over stunned.  I doubt it even less of a dragon. The real reason is because skills like this would make raid mobs 100% trivial, think about it, Berserkers alone have a 2s stun and a 6s stun, that is 8s, if any classes had half this and you have 24 in a raid, you could easily keep the mob stunned 24/7.  I admit, this is a pretty lame strat, but totally plausible.  That is why you can't use stun abilities on ^^^ mobs. What I would perfer to see, and possibly what the OP would also like, is the damage effect to still occur, but the stun does not land at all.  Weather possibly or not, I do not know, but I do know it kills me to see Vanquish sitting unused all through a epic battle once i have killed the cronies. PS: even if you can't keep it stunned constantly, keeping it stunned for xx% of the time means specifically xx% less damage taken.  I just comes out to powerful to <u>stun</u> epic mobs at all. <div></div><p>Message Edited by Ralluwen on <span class=date_text>06-02-2005</span> <span class=time_text>12:44 AM</span>

So why does Raging Blow work on epics then?

Raging blows used to just interrupt enemies, and even tho it now says stun, it might still be interrupt, which works on epic mobs, or then its bugged <div></div>

Good point, I will have to test it on Vyr'drias tomorrow, can't really test if actually stuns thou, might have to go try it on some low level ^^^. Also should note, the epics that these skills refer to are ^^^'s (and possibly some other special sidekicks), not neccesarily mobs that are tagged "Epic x?" <div></div>

Only mobs with ^^^^  cant be stunned, if they have adds, and they are epic x4, but only ^^ they are just normal mobs and they have no resists <div></div>

<P>The shield stun line of spells should work (Raging blow is a shieldless replacement to that line). It does stun raid mobs, only for a second or two, but if the main tank gets wallopped with a bunch of damage at once, you can stun raid mob for the extra second or two that the healers need to catch up on healing. It is a stun and even though it can be resistsed from time to time, it does work againts raid mobs.</P> <P> </P>
