In your opinion, in what order would you rank the importance of getting adept 3 quality T5 abilities? <P>agree with above poster, Vanquish doesn't hit epic mobs, makes it pretty useless later on if you mostly raid</P> <P> </P> <P>I wouldn't upgrade Rampage though, least till the timer goes down (if)</P>

I can rank the bottom of the stack on my server. I got all my T5 AdeptIII's made except for 3 I have a master I in. Not at one time but in a few sessions were i commisioned a alchie. Well yesterday afternoon I got the last set of (Adept III)'s I'll ever need till we can lev over 50th. ON my last one the Alchie messages me with a WOOT! forst time server discovery on my adept... So by simple deduction if it's the first time made here by anyone it has got to [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] well be bottom of the list. For my server and guild GNOC discovered No Quarter (Adept III) seems no one else wanted or cared for NO Quarter. granted i dont use it back to back but I still use and like it. Does 159 slashing damage decreases target power by 53 and by 39 every 4.1 seconds (thats 3 times for duration) so 170 point power drain on target 20 sec recast. so can do it again fairly soon if wanted. It cast berserk on you... always nice 10% change to increase damage by 5% and attack speed hasted 47% But point being till yesterday no one else ever wanted it made a Adept III so its safe for me to say here it is low man on the totem pole.

<P>I'm going to have to kindly disagree with some of the above posters. If you're planning on raiding here's what you need in order, more or less.</P> <OL> <LI>Anarchy. 258 Mitigation at Adept 3, and each swing procs for between 320 and 568. Considering this buff is only off for 20 seconds at a time this is a monster. Any upgrade of this spell between adept 1 and adept 3 you might as well triple its value b/c its going to proc atleast 3 times, usually more. A much under Adept 3'd spell.</LI> <LI>Frenzy. Generally speaking you're not going to be tanking epics from the front if you have a good Guardian. It hits 3 times, it hits hard, and it hits epics. </LI> <LI>Mutilate/Berserker Assault. This is a toss up really, and depends on what you see yourself doing. Mutilate is a great high damage attack. It hits quick and its ready to be used again, and upgrades well. Berserker assault is a great two enemy attack and at Adept 3 hits like a fricking bomb. Any attack that will allow you to hit debuffed targets for 800+ damage with the right group is super nice. Did I mention it hits epics?</LI> <LI>Whichever wasn't chosen above.</LI> <LI>Stunning roar. This is where some of the practicalities give way to damage. In alot of raids you will be best at thinning mobs and most Epics have adds. Stunning Roar hits quick, hard, and stuns minions. If you got a Shadowknight with that sexy debuff this will hit for 400+ damage on each of 10 targets. Did I mention its 10 targets? Doesn't hit epics, but it will knock the s h i t out of their minions.</LI> <LI>Vanquish. I know, doesn't hit epic mobs. The true bane of this skill. Would be at the 2 or 3 spot if it did. I still have it high, because it hits really really hard. At adept 3 in a group group, with good debufs I've hit for 1021 damage. For taking no time to cast, that's one hell of a poke. </LI> <LI>Wallop. Fast, hard, and hits epic mobs. Decent upgrade to the damage to primary target, and moderate damage increase to put it around 48 to all the extra mobs it hits. </LI> <LI>Slaughter. Slow as molases, but hits 5 targets and hits them pretty hard. Once again, great mob thinner and hits 5 targets. Would be higher, but waiting for this thing to go off is like watching the grass grow.</LI></OL> <P>I hope this helps you out some. The only change if you aren't planning on raiding heavily is that I'd get Vanquish at the 3 spot.</P> <P>Keep raging.</P>

If you included autoswing, there would be about 5000 melee hits and I (using a 2h weapon) would have closer to 400 procs (and more from other melee) because I keep Anarchy refreshed whenever possible.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Contrasting that, you seem to use Rupture a whole lot more than I do.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Different strokes for different folks, I guess...</DIV>
Thanks all for the suggestions. So far I've gone with Anarchy, Frenzy, and Berserker Assault, and I'm happy with them. I'm not positive which one I'll go for next, but I'm leaning towards Mutilate. <div></div>
You have 3 skills in this list that most people dont list that is HIGHLY underated.... I have UNBRIDLED FURY and WEAPON GUARD at master 1 and VEHEMANCE at Adept 3 and i never regret using them... the first two are for tanking and the make a hell of alot difference ( once they fix our proc base buffs/attack so that they dont poof after 15 procs they will be ever bigger ) Also VEHEMANCE is a highly under rated skill.... most people think its broken but its not... first off it wont give a "increase" to avoidance in the sense that it doesnt do that.... it just gives your parry /block / dodge an X amount of % chance more to fire off ( meaning the person this buff is casted on gets that 40% more chance at adept 3 for block/parry/dodge to work better ) also the person casted on also gets a chance to proc berserk like you do... not only is this a must to be casted on your MT in a raid group if you are a berserker in that MT group, it gives the tank a better chance at a DPS gain.... ( riposte atm in this game is really not a large issue ) as for the other 7 slots in your arsenal that should be adept 3 or better , this is as follows DESTRUCTIVE RAGE BULLY FEARSOME SHOUT RELENTLESS BATTERING WALLOP MUTILATE RAGING BLOWS rounds off my top 10 ( mind you these aren't in order ) but in reality you want to ad3 them all... also War Cry,Tides of War, Promise of Violence,Raging Strike and Taunting Blow ( if you dont have training upgrade ), Battle Tactics, Screaming Fury should be adept 3 as well . Remember thou the last 4 skills i mentioned will be corrected in the upcomming combat changes wont stack with their last upgrade ( AE Battle Tactics/SF/DR wont stack and Taunting Blow/RS/PoV will be linked <div></div>
