This still needs to be changed from 3 concentration slots to 1 concentration slots like the other parry buffing skills. The small amount of mitigation it adds is nowhere near worth 2 concentration slots, especially since that means you can't use any stance.

Whatever, I really don't care whether they fixed it or not now. Tired of telling people what they should or should not do.

Now, most of the time when I was online, I was only playing my level 10 characters.

Hell, it's loads of more fun than playing any subclass. Whatever is nerfed, I can roll another class in 2 hours. :smileyvery-happy:

Message Edited by JBoot on 04-06-2005 11:41 AM

All i know is, im glad we can refresh them now and recast the combat art over and over. By the way, it doesnt stack with Weapon Guard, so the 10 Defense you lose of unflinching will is being made up off of the 97 vs all physical damage on Darkmoores PLUS Controlled Rage and Stifled Rage stack with this combo. So you have a choice now and it looks to be the way they intend it on being, you can get Weapon Guard and Reckless Stance all rolled into one spell with no reduction to offensive skills PLUS Controlled Rage and Stifled Rage stack giving you again a extra 10 defense which all these are on a 3 min timer BUT can be refreshed and keep all the buffs going constantly now OR you can take the minor if even noticeable reduction in offensive skills for more Defense + Mental Mitigation which is on a 12 hour timer, and Weapon Guard which is parry buff.

So let me put it in a more less confusing way, we basically have 2 options now :

Darkmoores Protective Advance + Controlled Rage for a more defensive style of play with no deduction to offensive skills, but would the deduction to attack speed from Controlled rage make up for the deduction you would take from Unflinching Will? Id say you would lose more DPS with this combo, at a guess, but 20% less attack speed vs -3 to offense doesnt seem balanced.

Unflinching Will + Weapon Guard for a more offensive style of tanking with a very minor deduction in offensive skills ( -3 ) but no attack speed deduction.

All these buffs can be kept up on a constant basis now.

Ethier way, we are sacraficing DPS for defensive style of game play. Just how much you want to sacrafice is upto you, and how well you want to defend yourself is upto you.

Taemek Frozenberg 47th Berserker
16th Outfitter
Everfrost Server

Enlightened Aonein Amillion ( retired )
70th Stone Fist of The Celestial Fist
Five Rings on Luclin Server

Message Edited by -Aonein- on 04-07-2005 06:18 AM
