Zerker spell drops...RAARE

Well, after dinging lvl 46 last night.  I realized I havn't even SEEN an adept-1 (and NEVER seen adept 3/master) zerker spell drops since ohh...about lvl 25. We really need the spell drop rate increased! <div></div>

<P>Agreed.  I've been playing since launch now - and my main is a zerker.  I'm only L28, though I am L21 Tailor and have a few alts.  Now to my point...hehe.  I've only seen 1 zerker Adept I drop EVER in a party I've been in with any of my few toons.  And I was lucky enough to get it (Raging Strike, which I got in a lotto at L24, just in time).  On the other hand, I've seen so many Druid and Shammy line drops that I wish I'd created an alt on one of those tracks.  Instead, I chose a Templar and have not seen one drop there either.</P> <P>My guess is, this is just a random thing and you and I are 2 of the unlucky Zerkers who haven't seen our share.  At least, I hope that's the case.</P> <P>The Tailor Motelcom Zoil</P> <P>L28 Dwarven Berserker of Autumn Chill Guild, Steamfont Server</P>

<P>Boy, am I lucky then.  I have gotten Mad Cry, Infuriation and Coup de Grace adept I's to drop in the last couple of weeks as I leveled past 30 to 34.  At least one of those drops was from the Swine Fiend in Nek Castle.  Ok, so its not level 40+ adepts, but for some reason they seem to be keeping up with my advancement...</P> <P> </P>

<P>Adept 3's don't drop btw.  You need rare rocks and have an alchemist make the ink and skill.</P> <P>FYI...its like that for any class.  My main is a necro and I've only seen 5 at most of necro spell drops since I started (and I'm lvl 44 now).  What you gotta do is sell what spells you get and buy the ones you need.   Or if you are in a guild, you guys should be giving adepts to each other.</P>

<P>actually, i've seen more level 40-49 adepts drop than i've seen from levels 1-39 for berzerker or the prerequisite classes. </P> <P>I actually have 4-5 adepts for levels 43-49 sitting in my bank waiting for me to level. All of them i got as drops. </P> <P>Before level 40 I got MAYBE 2 adepts TOTAL as drops, and bought all the rest. Kinda funny isn't it as a level 31 ranger in nektropos castle i managed to snag No Quarter Adept 1 but not a single scout spell dropped, all fighter (only berserker spell was the one i got rest were pally/sk and i believe some brusier/monk spells) and mage spells, no clue how we managed to do it but it's quite funny.  I've had trouble locating some of my higher level Ranger spells and I feel your pain.  And that one measly berserker spell is the only one i've ever seen drop. <DIV>Heres what drives me batty.  I looted a magey type Adept book (Forced Hesitation? sounds like coercer to me) and put it up on the broker to sell.  Examining the reqs for the spell show it to be a level 36+ spell.  There are multiple sellers on broker and each is undercutting, such that the lowest asking price is < 1g.  Also noted that Anger (level 17.6) was priced at 3g+, and since it becomes obsolete at 31, the general price point should be for some one in there lo to mid 20's on average (3g is a fortune at those levels IMO, particularly when the going rate tends to be in the 1g range).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now I realize that if you are the only one offering an upgrade when you list it, you can set your own price.  but, wouldnt you want to price it so that the target audience that can use the spell can actually afford it?  and I understand undercutting to make a sale and move product, but the same thing holds, dont you want to get good value for your loot item, or is pack space at such a premium that you have to get rid of a level 36+ item for less than a gold to someone that spends more than that on drink items?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It makes me think that greed and stupidity are rampant on the broker boards and that no one even looks at the items they are selling...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>/rant off</DIV>

<DIV>It seems that some classes just don't get the master drops, on my merchant I have 4 masters 2 SK and 2 dirge, our guild SK has 7 masters I have 2. Search for masters on the broker and count how many lv 40+ masters there are for each class, the results are sad news for many classes and great news for others. </DIV>
