<P>Our Resistances have also been adjusted with out no warning what so ever from the patch, im currently missing 120+ to each Resistance stat.</P> <P>Todays patch fixed nothing also, all the spells Kannabis listed above, once casted stay greyed out until they run there course, and if you try to refresh them, they cancel the Combat Art and the refresh timer starts all over again.</P> <P>Frustrating, SoE you keep making the lists of class's Combat Arts, Abilities and Spells that are Bugged or Broken, longer and longer with each patch.</P> <P>Taemek Frozenberg 45th Berserker<BR>16th Outfitter<BR>Blood and Ice<BR>Everfrost Server<BR><BR>Enlightened Aonein Amillion ( retired )<BR>70th Stone Fist of The Celestial Fist<BR>Five Rings on Luclin Server</P>

They should block any other spells that are upgrades/downgrades of the same line while active, and should begin the reuse timers on those upgrades/downgrades when the blocking spell is cancelled. Now, I had to read that several times to try and extract its meaning but it <i>seems</i> to say that non-concentration buff Arts (Greater Fury, Tides of War, War Chant, etc.) are not supposed to be maintainable all the time.  Once cancelled (even by the re-use of the Art) the refresh timer is supposed to start.  Apparently they're supposed to be cast, run their course, then be uncastable again until the refresh timer expires.  Please let me know if you get something different from this note. Arts with concentration costs are, of course, another issue. <div></div>

Now if this is the way its meant to be, then alot of berserkers will be removing these of there hot bars cause number one, Weapon Shield line of combat arts is a real pain the [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] to control and maintain and now its basically unmanagable, and Fury was ok if you caught it before the 3 mins is up, now you have a 3 min duration with a 90 second resue timer, doesnt matter which way you try to work around it, there a waste of time to use at the moment. If they move Fury line of arts to a 10 minute timer like they stated months ago we were going to get, then it would probally be ok and there wouldnt be a problem, even if we had to wait the 90 seconds after a 10 min buff.</P> <DIV>The rest of Berserkers Buffs are fine, if they make Tides of War, Screaming Fury and War Chant lines of arts do this, then there just going to suck the fun out of it, cause no one wants to sit around and wait for buffs to refresh to get buffs. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What im having so much trouble trying to understand is, why cant they just make the reuse timers start from the time the Buff is cast, how on gods green earth is this making it over powering, and by doing what there suggesting how is this making any thing challenging, you call sitting there for 90 seconds waiting for buffs challenging? Then there is the problem ill never understand with Resists on items, why did they have to revamp the Resist numbers when Resists didnt add nothing to anything else, it just added to Resistant saves, nothing else. Resistances didnt roll into the Mitigation / Avoidance number that AC used to display, so why touch it? And one thing i will never ever understand is why SoE contuine to think that while they contuine to add content and new material it will make people happy or forget about Broken Combat Arts, Abilities and Spells when we cant even explore that new content or use the new material with a positive attitude due to so much stuff with in our own class being broken that should be fixed before any new content or material gets added so we can then at least have *<STRONG><U>FUN</U>*</STRONG> ( key word being <STRONG><U>FUN</U></STRONG> here ) exploring the new content and using the new material. <P>I haven't logged in yet today, but you say that ToW, Screaming Fury, etc. can be refreshed while active?  (Sigh) I wish SOE would make up their mind.</P> <P>No question, the Weapon Shield line, or any other combat buff that uses Concentration, should be refreshable without cancelling it, etc.  That's just from SOE's own Update Note, as you posted.</P> <P>I agree that the Fury line should be on a 10 minute timer.  Heck, the Update Notes from Live Update #3 (2/17/05) said they would.  No soap.</P> <P>I also personally agree that there should be no recast timer on expiration or cancellation of a buff spell.  A recast timer on <EM>casting</EM> of the buff will suffice to keep it from being spammed for aggro.</P> <P>I can't quite agree with you on the "no new content until everything's fixed" argument.  I <STRONG>absolutely</STRONG> agree with "No balance changes (i.e., nerfs) until (most) everything's fixed" statement, but SOE's got to make a profit on this game or it'll die.  That means that they're going to have two teams: one to fix things and one to make new content.  </P>

<DIV>Yeah the fact that SOE puts a change in their patch notes (fury's 10 minute timer) and it doesn't show up live, then refuses to even acknowledge the problem after multiple posts, is disturbing.   The fact that weapon shield still remains how it was, even after they put in a patch that by all appearances should apply to weapon shield, is also disturbing.  </DIV>
