question about sword of thunder

<DIV>has anyone gotten the quest starter from the cavaliers?  i'm now lvl 27, and the only skeletons on the 2nd level that con green to me are the cavaliers.  i don't want to spend a lot of time camping them if they don't drop it.  i could always group with someone lower than me, but i'd really rather just solo for it.</DIV>

I got it from the goblins at the bottom of the well area, since everything else was grey'd out to me.  Of course I spent about 6-7 levels straight here fighting almost only ^^ mobs.  Be prepare for a long camp and to turn off xp if needed.

I also have heard it can drop from any mob in SH. I have seen 3 drop (different charactes, one spent a whole lot of time there).  I've seen it drop from defiled knights, lancers, and sentries. <div></div>

<div></div>Technically any MOB inside Stormhold can drop the quest starter as its supposed to be random.  However, I have had more success killing skeletons than doing the goos/mists/leeches.  Not to say those dont drop it, but that's just my personal experience.  I have personally seen it drop from: Scorched Skeletons (inside the room with the Char Fiend), Defiled Knights (inside the room where Quartermaster Berlon is), Defiled Squires (around the Chessboard room).  A bit of advice, disable your XP while you are in there trying to get the quest starter.  If you level up too fast you'll find yourself basically going deeper and deeper in SH just to find MOBs that wont gray con anymore.  Also, you'd like to give the sword some use, and the more you level the quicker you will have the sword gray out to you eventually.  Try not to get discouraged (easier said than done) as things are insanely random in Stormhold.  My 1st day hunting for the sword quest starter I spent almost 8 hours and got squat.  3 days later I get the quests starter, and while camping for Lord Byron with a buddy we get the quest to drop again in less than 2 hours.  FYI:  The Sword of Thunder quest starter drops inside chests (not body drop), and is a tradeable item as long as you dont examine it.  Once you examine it the quest cycle starts and it goes into your journal. <div></div><p>Message Edited by Hazdrubel on <span class=date_text>03-19-2005</span> <span class=time_text>01:47 PM</span>

 FYI the SoT is still blue to me at level 34.  It also still procs every so often.

It will not drop from gray con mobs.  Gray con mobs won't drop a chest, and the sword is a chest drop. <div></div>

What does sword of thunder quest give to bone bladed claymore? I mean, what are differences beetween ebbc and bbc? Only the proc? And how much is the proc?<div></div>

I think EBBC has a bit better stats and maxes out at lvl 52 instead of lvl 50 (probably needed for some raid encounters). /Cathul<div></div>
