I'm a level 25 berserker with a full suit of pristine carbinate vangaurd, and a full set of pristine jewls. So yesturday my armor rating was around 2600, 2800+ with group buffs. So I can tank pretty well, but when I came on today my armor rating is barly 1800! Was this in the patch note, because I must have missed it. Can anyone fill me in on why SOE hates this class so much. Un-nerf us please SOE, just about every class is better than us!

I have noticed this as well , my ac and resists have definitely dropped , i'm wearing the aq armor except for the chest which is pristine carbonite so looks like stuff dropped on all types of stuff , the str , sta , agi , int ,and wis are the same but ac and resists definitely took a hit , would love to know what's going on with this since i saw nothing in the patch about it.

zach

27 berserker

crushbone

There is a thread about this in the equipment forum. Moorgard said there was no known change to AC and it is likely just a visual bug. They're investigating.

a visual bug ... i don't know. SOE loves to nerf Berserker and I think they found another way.

It's a bug across the board. Tons of people have been effected, not just berserkers.

So no, SOE has not nerferd berserkers.

This is actually good - well, the results are after the panic upon logging in has subsided

Foor reasons best known to them, SOE set displayed AC to depend upon mob ATK values, so changing mob ATK to be smoothed during teens and twenties, also changed reported AC values. This did not (by Dev statement and by personal experience) alter the stuff that can be tanked by us in that sort of level.

On the good side, Moorgard has stated that AC will soon be displayed as a full mitigation / avoidance breakdown - since the current system is quite so uninformative. Will make for much easier evaluation of combart arts I would hope.

Does that mean we'll finally be able to see the benefit of using Vehemence, Infuriation and Stand Firm? That would be nice to see a raw number for avoidance.

Quoted from Moorgard

We're going to make a change that many players have wanted for a while now: we're going to break AC out into separate numbers for mitigation and avoidance. Item AC (which is all mitigation) will be calculated based on the item's level, quality, and base mitigation, leaving NPC damage out of the equation altogether. Avoidance (which is skill, stat, and shield based) will be your percentage chance to avoid an attack. You'll also be able to see how much each of your skills factors into this statistic.

So - hopefully yes. It will either be helpful in buffing (if some of ours stack but don't appear to) or for /feedbacking (if they are non-stackable and look as if they should stack)
