For 2 handers from 38 to 43 I would recommend Mammoth or Treebane over the SBH, both are rewards from operation greenhood, treebane has better stats but both do immense damage. Get Mammoth from turning in to the glademaster or Treebane from turning in to Captain Vulis.I used rune encrusted great axe for 1h then switched to an icen guard langseax, useable at 39 or 40 i think, though there must be better weapons out there.Don't really dual wield but the heritage weapons polished granite tomahawk and if you can get it the short sword of the ykesha are worth working towards.

You should stop using SBH at 35. Mammoth are Treebane are ridiculously easy to get and better. I still use the Deathfist Utility Hammer for 1HW -- I know it sucks, but I almost always 2 Hand. Although you didn't ask, for dual weild, you should look into the heritage quests PGT and maybe SSOY or SBD. I only have the SBD and can't use it yet, but I understand that some Zerkers still use PGT and SSOY at 50.

<DIV>The slime covered weapons (Commonlands pocket zone) may be a decent upgrade 35+ (although will blue by 40).  Given how easy they are to get worth the trouble IMHO.</DIV>

<DIV>PGT is great for soloing, or on raid mobs with a bajillion hp's, or when you are taxing your power (mainly when tanking).  The power regen the proc provides is amazing.  I still use it a lot at 46.  My preferred DW combo is SSoY + SBD (when power regen is not a major issue).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>For 2h weapon, I had been using Heirophant's Crook since 42...but I got this cool Ebon Lance last night, and although the 3.0 delay seems long, in the hands of a berserker and all our haste, my dps increased noticeably.  </DIV>

I switch between my PGT+SBD and a Mammoth... Mammoths on my server go for about 2-3g..pretty cheap, and very nice dmg. (for a broke zerker like me). -- Coz

I got the Mammoth from the Deathfist Citadel access quest. Where does the TREEBANE come from?

Trebane and Mammoth come from the same quest. There are two possible turn in mobs. If you did the turn in to the guard captian, you got the Mammoth option among others. If you turned in to the green hood, you got the option for Treebane among others. Neither NPC offers both. The stats are close, but not identical.

Actually it's the opposite. The I got the Mammoth from the Greenhood, so i believe the Treebane comes from the Iskar Captain.
