Polished Granite Tomahawk at level 38

I am level 38. A friend who is a level 35 bard just got the PGT and swears that it procs almost constantly and is a fantastic weapon. It's about a 600 damage proc and a ward. He is urging me to do the quest. I always thought of it as a weapon that would have been useful when I was lower in level. Before I sink the time, I wanted to hear whether any of you use the weapon, how it compares to other weapons and what level it stops being useful. <DIV>The proc has no damage... just a 600+ ward, adds some str (17?) and gives back around 200 power. I'd recommend it it's great for tanking without a shield since it does proc quite often. I'll be using it until replaceable by SBD.</DIV>

<DIV>I still use this weapon a lot at level 50,   It will proc about 3 or 4 times on average per fight.     It does slighty less damage then a lot of the level 40 plus weapons but the proc is just so good.  great for soloing.</DIV>

Just got mine last night. I'm level 34. I love this weapon. I use it in tandem with a feysteel hatchet and it's all happy sunshine days in Berserker land. I retired the old Shiny Brass Halberd last night because of the PGT. It is my new love.

Definitely obtain this weapon ASAP, it's Proc helps a bunch and it's probably the best combo with the Short Sword of the Ykesha.
